Very interested but I feel Wes Nelson is a bit of a gamble (a bit like iann dior was?)

Yeah I’m not that thrilled by a Wes Nelson feature when there are so many better choices out there like MNEK or Ella Henderson. But I’ll save my judgment till I’ve heard the song.

There is a snippet on TikTok. Sounding very much not like a Clean Bandit song but they’ve been drifting from that for a while so not too surprised.
Excited for this, I’m still disappointed how ‘chain my heart’ never become the hit it truly deserved to, so this is hopefully another chance for Topic!

This is alright after a first listen. Think it'll be a grower.

Who knows how it'll do officially though after the lack of success for Higher.

Being a massive dance fan this is very disappointing now listening to it in full. It’s not awful but just extremely basic and doesn’t grip me, guess it could grow though.

First song by clean bandit to not be Insta added to hhuk

Are we coming for two songs in a row missing top 40, they need to stop with the rappers and go to full dance

Although I don't hate it, Drive is very bland. They've undeniably lost their spark with these latest few singles. All of their songs used to be so different and interesting with the use of strings and different instruments in the production. The uninspiring singers on the tracks can't help either.
Yet again it is DULL AS. It's painful to think this is the band that had an almost flawless run of singles not so long ago right through from A&E to Baby.

100% this. Just try comparing the likes of Symphony, Rather Be and Rockabye to this. Where did it all go so wrong? I'm still hopeful they can make good hits again.

They really need to just go back to their original USP, that's exactly why everyone loved them and why they were one of the most reliable hit-makers around for years.

You can still hear the odd fragment of classical influence but it's always buried way underneath overproduced, generic dance songs. I wouldn't rule it out of being a hit because it sounds exactly like the sort of thing that fills up the charts these days, and with exposure in the right places it very easily could be, but it's just frustrating that such a good band have moprhed into something so standard and ten a penny.
