Overload (Metronomy vs Tatyana Remix) will be available at midnight, UK time. Absolutely loving the single cover, and the fact that they've went back into their archives for this:

I kind of hope they'll bother doing an edit of the music video for this. It should be easy enough.

An excellent idea! They teased one for the Run For Cover remix... and then didn't bother following it up with anything.

Yes!! Exciting times and absolutely loving the artwork for this one.

Just listening to this now. It’s good.

Will post a bit more once it’s finished.

On first listen I though it was good but not great but I’m onto the third listen now and it’s browning on me. My rank of the three.

Same Old Story

Overload

Run For Cover

Which is interesting as the original Run For Cover is one of my favourite Sugababes songs.

It's ok. It's another remix to add to a group that really didn't make themselves known for remixes.

I hate it. Like violently hate it. The „chorus“ is a f***ing war crime. I’m on hold with The Hague to report it for crimes against humanity

The girls picked all these folks to collaborate with them. I can only hope that they’re getting a free pass at ruining Overload because they’ve produced a solid gold banger for the 8th album

I really like the Same Old Story one, it’s cute and adds something to the track. The changes to the instrumental work so so well and the piano intro is stunning. The vocals were nicely worked on as well. It’s a great bit of work by Dev. The RFC one is also really well done, like I could happily live without MNEKs vocals but I like what he did with the instrumental and then the vocals. It meshes well and actually does something with the song

This one. Where the f*** did Keisha’s „yeah“ come from? The vocals are largely left as is and kinda don’t fit with the instrumental like at all. Like it makes The first verse kinda sound out of sync and slow and like Siobhan is bored. Then that chorus is a f***ing abomination. And then when we finally get to the actual real chorus it’s had all life sucked out of it, which sets the scene nicely for a dull and emotionless verse 2.

I’ve listened to it twice now and I found more about it to hate the second time around

Disappointing... I hated it upon my first couple of listens, but it does start to grow on you... a little. Definitely the weakest of the remixes so far. I really thought the Overload mixes would be of the highest quality.

The worst thing about it is that the key of the new production and the key of the vocals are different on the verses, making it sound jarring and uncomfortable to listen to.

It's a shame because the garage production is otherwise pretty cool and very reminiscent of what a remix at the time would have sounded like.

Exactly! There's potential there, but the discrepancies in key are just painful.

Anyway, some articles on the release of the remix:
