Not sure about the history of them and "Record of the Week" but I know that To the Beat of My Heart was one.

I didn’t realise they got so much support from radio 2!! 😮 Also really annoyed something in your eyes didn’t get its moment (or 10 weeks) at A list!!

^ The least it deserved! And kind of annoying that Radio 2's support was relatively less for it, considering that was the all-important launch single for the album.

 

I'm happy that they've embraced Take Me for a Ride... fan reaction still seems kind of flat unfortunately, but I'm actually loving it at the moment - for me it's the definition of a 'grower' song.

I need to give it some more listens I haven’t really returned to it tbh. I look forwards to the video for a few more spins.

I wonder when the music video is coming? It all seems a bit unorganised this time round, no performances, no music video, just sort of chucked the song out...

It was supposedly filmed last weekend, so hopefully soon! Just under 4 weeks to go until the album is out, maybe they think it's better to make an event out of the video premiere a bit nearer to the release date. I guess the song will be on the A List of Radio 2 at least until the album is out, hopefully it's encouraging some pre-orders.

 

At the moment Faye is busy with Singin' in the Rain musical, and Lisa has to split her time between Dubai and the UK... she came over for a few days and I have a feeling they'll have recorded more stuff we don't yet know about. I guess that their more concentrated promo will occur nearer the album's release, when Lisa is back again. At least we know that the Radio 2 concert was filmed a few days ago and that it'll be aired the day after the album is out!

I certainly hope so!!

I'm thinking the next single will come out the week before the album.
