Oh poor 'Blood on the Dancefloor' and 'Chocolate Salty Balls' (:kink:) - I am a fan of both but didn't have room for either.

If only Another Level's number 1 hit were 'Be Alone No More' instead of that boring 'Freak Me'. I could have given it 20 points or more. :D

I also love Philip George and Anton Powers 2015 version of course.

Discotheque and Something About The Way You Look Tonight didn't deserve zero points. :(

EDIT: Just praying the song that got 1 point from me has got more points from someone else.

How Doop avoided zero points ?

Actually I thought there would be many many more songs on 0 points
U2 is the biggest casualty, but MJ, and a couple of others are pretty decent. I also agree with sentiment that Elton's less-famous side is far and away the better record.

Dandy* 😁

I do love it! It’s the right type of novelty for me. Can’t remember if I gave it points or not though

HANGING TOUGH- New Kids On The Block- #1 for 2 weeks in January 1990 (Voter: Ready For It)

The first No 1 of the 90s and by a boyband- just like the last No 1 of the decade but with some points....

GYM N TONIC's music video is ridiculously camp but catchy and makes me laugh! I didn't know about the existence of Bob Sinclar's version until now (before reading this thread).

Co-written by Michael Jackson but it’s fallen from favour now,

The second and final Cliff track leaves the rate

Okay 'Saviour's Day' did not deserve to be outperformed by 'The Millennium Prayer' lol

'Unchained Melody' is a great song and that is my favourite version of it by far, but again, didn't have the room

Wow. I did not think I'd be the only person voting for UM.

Was that because it was a re-release?

I left it out only because it was a rerelease, same for the Clash. I tried to pick new songs!

I agree it’s the best version of Unchained Melody, but I don’t love the song in any form. There’s no chorus and it doesn’t really go anywhere. :P

Millennium Prayer… I respect Cliff and he’s done some great services to music, but that isn’t one of them!

Do the Bartman is OK for a novelty type song. I’ve been watching back early Simpsons on DisneyPlus and they are a great cultural institution.

the Simpsons series is genius, the song... not so much, one of the most diabolical #1s ever

There’s no chorus and it doesn’t really go anywhere. :P

It doesn't go anywhere apart from the almighty climax?

A Robson & Jerome record with points!- This is their second most popular in the rate!

A Different Beat Boyzone (Voter: Hide&Seek) #1 for 1 week in December 1996

Oh dear- a fifth or six entries for the boys crash out of the rate- but at least this gets some votes

It doesn't go anywhere apart from the almighty climax?

Actually I’m not that keen on the falsetto climax either, although it’s not as grim as in Gareth Gates’ version. B-) :arrr:

Would have expected Inside to do better.
