Yeah it is really nice to see and I love that she's sticking to the theme too.

I feel like she's in her element focusing on just her, happy for her

That artwork above is WAY better!

I agree, I really like it :) The CD has BOYZ ft Nicki Minaj and an acoustic version of BOYZ.

The track is apparently 2:59 minutes long

I just don’t get how anyone can watch that podcast and not understand where she was coming from?

Same here!

In her Glamour Magazine interview she was pretty honest too.

“I haven’t spoken to the girls,” she says and falls silent before continuing. “It is weird because for so many years we were as close as sisters, together every hour of the day for weeks, sharing beds, laughing, crying just 24/7 the four of us together and then…” her voice trails off. “Nothing.”

She hasn’t seen Perrie and Leigh-Anne’s babies, I ask? She shakes her head. “No. I’ve sent a few texts, but that’s it. I can’t explain it, it’s like there has to be this distance. We were so close so you can’t do in-between, there has to be space and hopefully…” she pauses. “Hopefully at some point in the future we can all come back together. I love them. They are my sisters in so many ways, but for the time being we just don’t talk.”

It’s clearly a tough subject. Jesy has always been at pains to explain that her problems were never caused by her relationship with the girls. It was about the pressure of being in a girlband, which meant looking a certain way, singing a certain type of song (Little Mix were very much dance pop whereas Jesy’s heart lies firmly in R&B and hip-hop) and inevitably falling victim to the media and social media’s endless game of comparisons. Being the ‘odd one out’ for Jesy meant never being good enough.

Song sounds like a bop, there's a 7 seconds leak floating around on whatsapp.

Ok so her Ferne Cotton interview has definitely won me over.

I wish she’d been like this in other interviews, it’s the first time it’s seemed totally genuine and more in-depth and in my opinion honest - The parts about her team not supporting her I’m glad she mentioned this because I honestly thought her team would have always supported and wanted the best for her.

The comments I find slightly odd are how She references her life already being planned out (Surely that’s the same as a solo artist) you can’t book things up photo shoots, video shoots and then suddenly decide on the day you don’t want to do it. I guess her schedule isn’t as crazy but still she makes it sounds like she can just do whatever now.

Boyz sounds horrendous from that 7 second clip.

I’ve actually ordered the Signed CD and have instant regret

Jesy on Fearne Cotton's podcast:

Finally got around to watching this, such a great interview

So sad to hear what Jesy's experience was like with Little Mix's team, we know she's mentioned it before and she unfollowed their management as soon as she left. Really glad to hear she's got a team she's happy with and that support her.

Exactly. If she has a video shoot/photoshoot/performance as a solo artist scheduled she still has to do it even if she doesn't want to. What's the difference?

(low key I wish she'd be allowed to just say she wanted to leave because she wanted a solo career without worrying about backlash and bad publicity. There's nothing wrong with wanting to try do your own thing after 9 years of being in a group. All her reasons about leaving are contradictory and confusing.)

I don't think the sole reason to leave was to go solo, we'll never know how it felt as we were not in her shoes.

It's quite clear mental health was involved also, can we not pretend it wasn't. Sometimes when people say this, it is as if you are implying she was lying about her mental health and that is so dangerous and it prevents people from speaking up because they are scared they'll be called a liar.

She more than likely had mental health issues and was also ready for a change. She even said at the end of the interview they were all starting to all go off an do their own things.

Plus her saying their team was causing her more distress obviously effects mental health. Little Mix is a job at the end of the day and if the people around you are not supporting you (not directing Leigh, Perrie or Jade) and giving you support - you leave. You go somewhere where you're in charge and have supportive people around you.

Some fans keep trying to make out Jesy is the villain in everything, she can never do right with some people - i'm not directing this at you, just some people online.

She's said her bit, btw i'm not saying any of this disrespectfully to you at all. I appreciate you have a different opinion.

Let’s be honest though, if she had come out and said that you’d still be in the thread talking about awful it was that she dared to do that…

i think she means that she can schedule things on her terms and she has an element of control in her life, whilst she was in Little Mix everything was done for her without any real consideration for whether she wanted to do it or not.

It's a bit exhausting explaining things to people who just don't want to understand ;)

There are a lot of things which are problematic about her debut but the debut itself isn't one of them
