Performance was utterly horrendous too she didn’t even mime properly and the hate she’s getting on socials is crazy!

How people can't see the "no bad blood from my side" comment as anything other than shady/playing victim is baffling to me, specifically as (and has already been said) it's largely down to her ignorance that they're in this mess in the first place. She could've just said something like "y'know what, I've had some of the absolute best times with Little Mix. They're killing it as a trio and to me they're still the sickest girl band in the world and I wish them nothing but the best. I'm just super excited for my new chapter" or something. As I've said before, she especially needs a better PR team around her.

 

The over defensiveness of Jesy's behaviour is honestly worrying and baffling (this extends beyond here too). It's one thing to like the song - that's fine and is the thing that is subjective. But her behaviour

is NOT subjective and it genuinely confuses me how she has so many people defending her over it?

I was a massive fan so I’m invested in her first performance, watched it all with an open mind and sharing my thoughts.

I’m out anyway...

I'm just pointing out you said you watched with an open mind, when you clearly did not.

 

I'd rather be saying positive things about her than the various names you've called her over the past few months with expletives that you just moaned about her using.

Poor Jesy. I really feel like whatever happened this slot was going to be a bad choice. Her and her team should cancelled and regrouped. The comments are atrocious. I don't think it was that and don't mind the miming, but the mixing made it very obvious and jarring. I really hope this is the promo of the song.

As for her no bad blood utterances, all I can say is that someone has had a word with her, but they either didn't do it right or she didn't quite pick it right. There are several better ways she could have answered that question.

I know people think I’m just being shady but genuinely it looked like a Lip Sync for your life performance...

 

Maybe it was the mixing of the song too but it really just didn’t work.

As for her no bad blood utterances, all I can say is that someone has had a word with her, but they either didn't do it right or she didn't quite pick it right. There are several other ways she could have answered that question without unnecessary drama.

 

I would love to see her do an acoustic!

The lip syncing was so bad. The problem with dancing so much to intense choreography like that (which, I'll give her credit for, was impressive) is that it makes it so much more obvious you're miming because it's impossible to sing well while moving like that. I think it would have been better if she sang the verses live and done a couple ad-libs at the end and just mimed the chorus (basically like Little Mix performances) other than fully miming. I also did cringe badly at the sort of gangster posing she did during Nicki's rap.

 

As for the interview I think she did come across pretty well other than the 'bad blood' comment. I did find it a bit sort of sad for her that Graham was already sort of implying there could be a reunion in future and she done that 'who knows/never say never' type answer. She's only on her first single ffs.

 

I can't see it doing anything for the song whatsoever but it might have helped some people warm to her and shifted some of the awful PR she's had so far I guess.

 

Edit - Actually just noticed she said she absolutely loved her time in Little Mix yet she was saying in other interviews she was miserable?
