Tbh I don't think Nicki will change how Jesy does in the UK.

I kind of agree with these posts i've seen on other forums:

- Well, they do say that all publicity is good publicity. Nicki is all over the news right now. Trying to ride that wave could backfire, but it may be Jesy's only shot at relevance outside of Little Mix's core markets. We will see.

- If Nicki's antics didn't turn into meme material and people were genuinely pressing her for apologies there would be a removal. As long as she waits a week or two, she'll be fine. Nicki's tweets may have garnered her next collaboration more curiosity than expected, honestly.

Someone on PJ said this, not sure if true:

You’ve got a couple more Fridays to wait yet (it got delayed). And no, Nicki isn’t being replaced.

Jesy covers Noctis magazine!

Jesy Nelson has opened up about her upcoming debut single, titled BOYZ.

The track, which is expected to be released in the next few eeks weeks - is Jesy's first solo offering after parting ways with Little Mix last December.

Speaking to Noctis XXI magazine in their Uprising issue, Jesy said: “I wanted to come back with a song where people are like 'OKAY!'. You're either going to love it or you're going to hate it and I would rather that than people be like, ‘meh, okay...'".

"I just think it’s in your face," she continued. "I wrote it when I was going through a break-up and it's me all over. I just love a bad boy. I say it to people all the time… it’s not healthy!"

Jesy's first post-Little Mix single is described in a press release as a "ballsy, audacious head-knocker infused with early 2000s R&B". The song reportedly samples Diddy's 2001 smash Bad Boy 4 Life.

Discussing her decision to embark on a solo career, Jesy explained: “As an artist, I want to stay authentic to myself. I don't ever want to be given a song just because it's a hit. I want my songs to genuinely come from me as fans can tell when a song has and when it hasn't. That's what a true artist is, when you really are authentic to yourself and tell your own stories.

“To be able to tell my truth and stories that people have never heard before is really nice and quite refreshing. It's like therapy for me”.

That cover is absolutely tragic. A fan made tea

It's the aesthetic the magazine uses for their covers, but it does look fan made I agree.

However, she's not the first to have tragic covers and won't be the last :P

I sorta just want this to hurry up and flop already so she can get out of the music/showbiz industry. She's turning into a joke and getting more and more memes/criticism directed towards her than her entire career in Little Mix.

It's a bit uncomfortable to watch.

Surely pushing this back and teasing is doing more harm than good at this point?

That's an odd way to look at it, the fact people can't be mature enough and attack her for how she looks she should 'flop' and 'leave the industry'?

She should flop because other people can’t be decent human beings and not attack someone’s appearance/weight?

She's not a joke, the people attacking how she looks (black fishing aside) are a joke - the amount of disgusting things i've seen about her lately is absolutely horrible. All she did was leave a girl group and that does not give people permission to relentlessly troll her again - especially former fans who watched her doc.

That is their problem and Jesy shouldn't stop doing what she loves because of some pathetic people out there who can't stop trolling her.

Let Jesy do what she wants, i'm sure this will be a decent hit in the UK.

I say this all respectfully btw, just my view!

But she LITERALLY made a documentary about how much it affected her when people trolled her online. She ATTEMPTED SUICIDE because of it. She LEFT Little Mix because of it. It is absolutely not acceptable for anyone to get abuse online but considering how much it has impacted Jesy's personal life, health and career it is very odd to see her make her even more of a target with these solo career decisions. She's now getting more abuse and memes made about her than she ever did in Little Mix.

I don't think she 'should' flop because of other people. Obviously I don't know Jesy and don't know what makes her happy but from what she has openly admitted to the public and sort of became 'known for is that she struggles with fame, attention and people commenting on her and knowing how much controversy she's in now with the blackfishing, Nicki Minaj stuff and the coldness she's had with speaking about Little Mix it does make me worry that she's going to take all this stuff very personally again. 'd have been more than happy if she left Little Mix to have a quiet, private life or do something more low key because at least she would have been safe from the public eye and wouldn't have been made fun of all over social media like this.

It is awkward and uncomfortable to witness. You want her to do well of course but some stuff she does deserve to be called out for and asked about, but the problem is that she takes it personally and misinterprets it as 'trolling' and 'abuse'.

What I said I was in relation to the unnecessary comments about her face and her weight.

A lot of the stuff she's getting for the above things I said is trolling and abuse and it's not okay.

She's said music is her therapy and if this helps good for her :) I just hope she's got a good support system and speaks to people if she ever needs to. However, I disagree she should disappear because of trolls and what they say. It's possible for people to get better and develop coping mechanisms.

However, I totally respect your opinion, it's just something we'll differ on :)
