I sorta just want this to hurry up and flop already so she can get out of the music/showbiz industry. She's turning into a joke and getting more and more memes/criticism directed towards her than her entire career in Little Mix.

It's a bit uncomfortable to watch.

Gemma that's a bit dramatic

I thought Boys had potential to be a PILLOWTALK type hit tbh. (Maybes not the #1 peak but massive solo hit from first member who went solo from the group)

It depends like I think it’ll chart highly tbh it’ll get a lot of streams from stans, curiosity listeners and people who aren’t keen on her as well.

How she follows up is the big test but she’s definitely gonna have a hit with this I think.

i feel like she thinks she's bigger than what she is tbh

that's a you problem

Well really it's Jesy's problem if that is the case and not their problem at all.

Tbh it doesn't matter how big she or Little Mix are, Spice Girls showed that you can be the biggest band on the planet and still not forge a successful solo career.

She is losing any sort of buzz for this single now.

I wonder what the hold up is now..

i honestly don’t even know what to expect, it could do similar to love (sweet love) or it could do a break up song chart run

I’m listening to the full podcast on the way to work, but if Jesy was so unhappy for 10 years, why didn’t management step in? It’s an awful long time for her to be feeling like this?

She literally said how they made her uncomfortable in a past interview.

Anyway I loved this interview

Loved hearing all the nice things she said about the girls and how proud she is of them!

I find it really hard to voice my opinion without offending but as a fan I do feel a bit misled they were 4 girls living the dream but she barely has anything positive say whatsoever about the last 10 year’s in Little Mix.

I’m always in two minds, Why did she carry on putting herself through that? Was it the money? Fame? The other girls?

10 year’s is such a long time, Even when there popularity seemed to fading with TAU, OIBM etc...I’m surprised she didn’t give up then.

I’m guessing lockdown had a massive part to play because she was with her best mate, everything had stopped and it was the going back to all that after the time away where her mental health seemed to be terrible you could actually see she really didn’t want to be there.

I really hope she is happier now, It always seems (in my opinion) that’s it’s all a bit of front if she ends up with a massively underperforming single is she ready for that sort of scrutiny the media could jump on?!

Regards to the teaser above...It’s just not my thing haha.

I feel like you have to look at it a bit more open minded tbh - she obviously enjoyed her time in Little Mix - she got to travel the world, meet millions of fans and perform on some of the biggest stages - but from her perspective, some of it was absolutely shit and you can't blame her for that. I feel like something that needs reiterating a lot is that she attempted suicide - because the amount of mental anguish you have to be in to attempt something like that is a lot and the after effects of it can be even worse when having to deal with your own mental health, even though she enjoyed Little Mix a lot of the experience was probably ruined due to these sorts of things.

This post isn't meant to attack btw, I just think it's important to look at it objectively and see what's presented - it's not so black and white that she hated her experience and was lying, but were the bad times worse than the good? maybe
