TBH, I was still hopeful that they could go #1 even with ABBA and ED. Album sales depend a lot on physicals. The amazing and jaw-deopping pre-orders of Ed and ABBA I'd expect would be shipped in their first weeks. Little Mix is still huge enough to move reasonably big numbers in their first week. Of course I'd be naive to think they'd be on top beyond one week as ABBA and Ed (especially Ed) will return on top. Adele is still a rumour. So yes I still had a bit of hope. But now with Rod, I don't know anymore lol. How can the most talented girl group the UK has produced in the last 30 years only have one number one album? That's just sacrilege!

Because even having that status their label prefer longevity and sales over a #1, if they released in literally any other week of the year they would've got the #1 - in 2018 with LM5 it outsold, first week, pretty much every female debut week in that year. They just always end up going against "mum sellers", christmas albums and legacy acts where the only people who could beat those are massive sellers like Ed and Adele.

#1 was out of the question as soon as ABBA's pre-order numbers were announced, they could've possibly got it against Ed's third week sales but ABBA doing 80k pre-orders is insane and Little Mix will never beat that with a Greatest Hits, longevity is the key here although I do hope they still manage to stay top 5.

Oh FFS ROD! Ugh.

However, I think this will have a lot of casual interest for LM. Greatest hits always do, so I wouldn't look TOO much into their pre-orders so far tbh. It is frustrating though  But this is what they get for releasing so deep into Q4! I am confident about them managing to debut top 5 though. Would be full circle if it got to #4 (where 'DNA' debuted). I will be surprised if it doesn't have longevity though.

01. ABBA

02. Ed

03. Rod

04. Little Mix

08. The Wanted > I really can't see them being a threat to LM - but I guess we'll see - but this feels like nobody asked for it but they're doing it anyway? *manages to beat even Rod and get to number 3* lmao <

I imagine? Plus whatever else will be big sellers in quarter 4, like the Michael Ball's type artists who will randomly keep increasing each week in the run up to Christmas etc..

LM5 was Syco - no? Makes me wonder whether it's really their labels or the girls themselves. LM5, Confetti, now this. Anyway, goodluck to all of them.

Jade was discussing videos they've pre-filmed and she said 'the girls are still pregnant in the next one...and the next one actually'.

So there's two more videos filmed?

I think they'll do well, i think they'll stream more than rod and abba, especially with a greatest hits

I really, really hope we get a huge megamix! The Saturdays and Girls Aloud megamixes are SG!

Yeah she said they had filmed 3 music videos but it's assumed it was for 'Kiss', 'No' and 'Love' but apparently there's another?

How would a mega mix even work? Would it be on streaming or just as a YouTube video?

She said 2 more videos filmed apart from lsl. I just wonder when they plan to release all. Obviously one with the album, and maybe the other next year 🤔

I have a theory they want every track on the album to have a video. They always talked about a visual album and maybe this is the closest we will get.

I love the girls but i hope the videos are not like Kiss My or LSL - they look incredible but the videos are very blah, especially LSL.

I'm hoping the other videos have more than one scene to make the video more interesting - obviously not expecting choreography or anything just them in a different setting.

i feel like this is plausible and whilst.. them working through their pregnancies is amazing it's not giving us solid visuals and videos when they were literally 8 months due. If the videos are like LSL it's going to add nothing to the songs. LSL could've been saved by a solid video

i wonder what their insta live is about considering they rarely go live without saying "hey it's a Q&A"

watch them change the release date

I think they'll just talk and answer questions nobody asked :P

lauren aquilina wrote another song on the album w/them
