Kylie 13k - I can't see her being a huge threat.

I can see them being higher than Rod in the first update because of the pre orders but Rod may sell more as the week progresses?

 

Well I’m guessing LM have stan buys, streams and pre orders on their side and Rod has casual buys and casual buys make a difference in Q4!

 

 

i hope there's something good in the "No" video that makes it go somewhat viral, they have a LOT of goodwill on their side at the moment that a single with a decent push could bode very well for them and the album.

They're ahead because I *think* their pre-order is recent. I can't see them being a threat much, if at all.

 

I think the dark horses this week will be The Wanted tbh. We can't rule them out surprising us tbh - but I don't think it'll be enough. Also, I can see Kylie doing more than 13k first official update (Monday) maybe around 7k-10k more? Idk I do feel like her release will be v front loaded/fan driven. Casual audiences won't be too bothered about a re-release of 'Disco'.

I'm a bit pissed off about the leaks though. I never hear about leaks of songs from big artists; or does that happen and I'm just not aware?

Cos I feel that the leakage will affect first day/week streams. I mean, people who didn't like the songs might not run off to check them out on Friday, which would have happened had they not heard them at all. Hoping it doesn't matter, same way Heartbreak Anthem leak didn't really matter at the end of the day.

Leaks don't really make a difference these days. Heartbreak Anthem wasn't effected in the slightest despite being out there for like 2 months before it came out

Leaks happen all of the time, but they’re usually mostly cantered in their respective fandoms tbh.

 

I haven’t seen any person say they dislike these songs tbh. Love Sweet Love seems to be the weakest.

I actually wasn't going to get it until much later (I work for hmv so would have gotten it some point down the road with my discount) but I wanted a signed version :(

 

(Also, I'd be lying if I didn't say that the P+P is actually what got me to go for it... lol - had it been LM shipping costs, probs not)

I ordered Taylor too sorry but my favourite album by her signed couldn’t say no.

Yeah I agree I guess the only bonus is that you save money on buying the cassette and vinyl together.
