I just checked the LM store there are 6 Jade picture discs left and 102 Leigh picture discs.

Just incase anyone wanted to know if they don't get re-stocked in the future.

Speaking of reaching...

It might enter the top 40 when the Xmas takeover commences

this is not doing well on iTunes pre-orders - I get there wasn't an actual lead and outside of a twitter announcement it wasn't doing anything (and also it being a GH w/no lead single yet as opposed to their last albums which have had at least a single out)

it's down to like #50~ i think?

With the Abba album announcement today my hopes for a number 1 album are dashed but I’m here for this selling bucket loads!

Platinum by the end of the year is what id be happy with

Omg ABBA will probably sell double what they're selling the second week. At least they'll be a shock to Ed Sheeran and won't let him have more than one week at #1 at that point. The marketing of this album has confused things for them a bit I think. It needed some sort of Greatest Hits tag as a selling point.
Yeah I've lost all hope of the #1 album.

Do you guys think they might consider pushing back a week?

Wouldn't mind that as the 19th is my bday :P

My prediction:

01. Ed (100k)

02. ABBA (100k)

03. Little Mix (70k)

Also I had someone come into work today asking "Have you got Little Mix Greatest Hits?" So I don't think the GH tagline matters - sure, it'd help but I don't think it'll matter in the grand scheme of things. People are aware.

He ended up buying Confetti, LM5 & DNA (the only albums we had left at the time) and said "well they'll have their greatest hits on won't they" lmao.

Noooooo. They'll have Taylor to contend with too

70k!!! I'd say that's very generous.

I guess with very few examples of greatest hits albums its hard to know how much demand there will be, but I reckon 50k is more likely.

Taylor’s re-releases aren’t massive here. She gets #1 without big numbers. It would probably have been easier for them to contend with Taylor than ABBA’s second week and Ed’s third week. Oh well another #3 album

Tbh I think they should bring it forward to the 22nd October. Not sure why they’re putting 3 months between the announcement and GH album release. It’ll linger around for ages so it’s not like they’ll miss on Christmas sales.

If they stick to the original date, i'm praying I don't see Ed Sheeran or ABBA steal LM's Number 1 on my birthday - very homophobic :P

I think they just love their tradition of always releasing in November tbh :P

Although i'm here for them releasing on a date they'd have a better chance at Number 1! It's insane they only have one Number 1 album!

They would have so many more number 1s if they didn’t release in November, it’s such a silly tradition to keep up
I get *why* they release in November for Christmas sales and I think their team prefer longevity than a #1 but a #1 album looks *so* good. It’s always Christmas albums or legacy albums that beat them. Glory Days was up against two other similar mainstream albums and they decimated them so it really is just these types of acts they can’t compete with 😭

It’s all about the sales in the lead up to Christmas, labels want those sales, if I was an artist I’d rather a 50k opening week in November for a #2 debut rather than a 1 debut in say August on 12k

I love the fact that there only number one album is from there imperial phase, is surely was their Glory Days
OMG JADE SAID THEY RECORDED 3 VIDEOS IN THE LAST WEEK BEFORE LEIGH/PERRIE WENT ON MATERNITY
