November 3, 200816 yr I don't actually support any in that I don't go to matches ... but my favourite teams are Wigan Athletic and Liverpool. Norma The last football match I went to was actually Wigan Athletic V Grimsby Town when Wigan were first elected to the football league over 25 years ago! They were at Springfield Road then ... and I think they lost! Edited November 3, 200816 yr by Norma_Snockers
November 4, 200816 yr Arsenal - have pictures of me in a Gooners shirt and nappies! (not recently, you'll understand haha)
November 4, 200816 yr The bigger question is why is this topic been brought up again after over 2 years, when there's a similar thread somehwere on the 1st page. No - that was about how many times you had seen your team play. You didn't have to specify who that team was (I didn't say that the team I had seen 9/13 was Preston, for example).
November 14, 200816 yr Celtic, Sunderland and Neuchatel Xamax. Celtic because I idolised Kenny Dalglish as a kid and that was the team he used to play for (!) - again, no religious reasons behind...and quite right, anyone who supports either Old Firm team for that reason is missing the point I feel. Sunderland because that's where my Dad's from. Neuchatel Xamax because, apart from having a great name, they humbled Celtic 5-1 in a European Cup tie in 1989 (I think) and I've had the utmost respect for them since then...I assumed Celtic would thrash them and they prove us wrong. Artmedia Bratislava...now that's different!
