They had a fair few TV performances of it at the time I'm sure  nothing major though. I bet it would've charted like 30-35.

Zero radio play + didn't appear on any pre-order charts. I genuinely wouldn't have been shocked if it had missed the top 75 (!). Despite all the tv performances there just seemed to be zero interest in it.

I remember it having a very minor reassurance when it was finally available on downloads  I maybe wrong.

Today's Amazon update:

#142 in CDs & Vinyl

#23 in Box Sets (CDs & Vinyl)

#68 in Pop

Down a Little Bit still Holding semi Strong.

I still think it’s Supermarkets where this will sell the best/most

Down to £5.99 on Amazon!

Doing nicely on the Amazon chart:

#63 in CDs & Vinyl

#16 in Box Sets (CDs & Vinyl)

#26 in Pop

For a second I thought I was in the One Touch topic and read 6 quid for the Amazon exclusive, I don't think I have ever clicked as fast on a link before. Then I realised I was in the wrong topic...

Maybe it’s been pushed? Has anyones dispatched at all coz Amazon haven’t sent anything of mine yet

Mine arrived just now so it is definitely out, not been over to Asda yet to see if they’re stocking it, they did stock the S Club 7 one.

Reading the track credits with all the years jumping around makes it even more clear how random the sequencing is. In the fold out inlay there’s a gallery of the six album covers (not One Touch obviously).

Good to know it's officially out there - only for the fact that we want two Sugababes albums in the Top 100! :w00t:

Still holding strong on Amazon:

#39 in CDs & Vinyl

#10 in Box Sets (CDs & Vinyl)

#18 in Pop

Not surprising that it takes a place in the "new releases" rack, but also depressing :P

It didn't. I trolled quite a bit about it "finally" being available on download on some random Sony compilation, so that's what you might remember :P

Seeing them grouped together like this is just... an insult.

"Here's a carefully curated release by the original line up which includes tonnes of unreleased material and goodies for fans... oh and also, here's something we slapped together on shuffle".

Honestly Shuffle could have come up with a better running order

Fully willing to forgive Universal for their wrongdoings on the condition that they come up with a 20th anniversary Angels package. We need something else to look forward to.

and releasing the mutya version of never gonna dance again

Yes. For the taller sessions let’s have that one pls.

I would like something from Island for the 2.0 material at least. Would be nice to give them that little push towards being million sellers

I like to think that the Essential boxset - shit as it is - is a sign of Universal's willingness to revisit the Sugababes catalogue. They'd be plain stupid not to release vinyls of the golden years. Additional material would be absolutely unreal, but I'm not sure if that's been the case with other Universal/Island reissues?
