I think it's quite fair and in their style. They've always included a couple of covers/previously released songs in their albums, so it's actually interesting to hear some songs that haven't had the opportunity to shine when recorded by somebody else finally have their mini-spotlight thanks to Steps dusting them off and making them theirs.

I think the title makes sense from a marketing point of view. It’s released 2 months before their What the Future Holds tour begins, so they must want that crossover. I prefer this to a re-release of Part 1! I think it’s quite a quirky way of continuing this era. I’m very happy that we’re getting 10 new songs. I bet they have some discounts/deals in release week that attempts to encourage sales of Part 1 as well as Part 2.
Would have been nice to add a reworked version of What The Future Holds song just to tie it in a bit more but still a full new album is great !
Nice interview and many congratulations to Lee. There was no clear emphasis that this is a new album in that interview though, I really hope they make sure to emphasis it really heavily as by that I'm thinking re-release!
As Part 2 is all new material we should see at least 2 further Steps singles this year.

What a time to be a Steps fan

I'm thinking Take a ride with me and Hundred years of winter are the ones up for consideration as they have been used in articles already.

Just watching the This Morning interview and Eamonn calling H Ian just sounds so wrong, I know it's his name but still, he is H

I thought the exact same thing I was all "A seventh person is now in Steps!"

Hopefully it proves to be a less competitive week! In the equivalent week last September, the #1 sold 17,400.
