Steptastic please refraining from making assumptions about other fan bases, as steps fans we certainly get the raw end of the stick with that often enough, let’s not be the same. Thank you.

I’m not making any assumptions whatsoever. You don’t know how many Manics fans I know personally. You’re just assuming I don’t and that I’m making assumptions about them when in fact I’m merely going on my experiences of the Manics fans I know personally.

I’m not getting into a debate, I’m asking you as a mod of the forum to stop mentioning the manic st preacher fans as it is already causing some upset in the forum. I’ve asked nicely any more they will be deleted.

 

Let’s all just celebrate the wonderful group that is Steps no need to mention other groups or their fan bases (since steps are clearly the best ❤️). ☺️

Criticising Manics and their fans won’t help change the outcome anyway! Let’s be respectful and see what the future holds (lol) over the next few days.

I'm really nervous about it! I'm kind of accepting a #2 which is still fantastic but I really want them to get a #1!

 

They deserve a number 1.

It was confirmed oN Saturday I think it was that they were #2 and about 3.5k behind the MSPs…

Might have closed slightly but still a long way to go yet…!

Between steps and manics I wonder who will pick up the more casual sales. Sales so far will be largely from the fans of both, although if manics have 3500 lead I cant unfortunately see Steps catching them. So annoying as if the album was out 2 weeks ago they would have easily beaten Kanye West to number 1.
The Manics seem to be falling on iTunes and other charts. This is a good sign.
No more as far as I am aware I think it was just the weekend. A shame really they got a great turn out at Leeds HMV I'm guessing the other stores will have been similar. They should go do some in Scotland.
