Album is £4.99 on Amazon too!

I wonder if this means the gap is small for the top spot so they are reducing to try and close the sales gap even more?

Ps bloody annoying when you've spent full price on it, I'm going to stop pre-ordering and wait for the reductions on release week from now on!

Amazon itself is still selling it for £10.99, but Chalkys have an Amazon sellers store and they're the ones selling it for £4.99 currently.

That's weird... aren't Amazon supposed to price match?

Also:

-A hundred years of winter is growing even more!

-Love that the vocals are more divided. Though Claire sounds great on this album. That note on Victorious

-Victorious

11. High 6/10

Yes! Bring it on!

Though I have to say, if they’ll end up at #2 it’s still a great result though

Curious what the actual sales are btw.

1 Manic Street Preachers - The Ultra Vivid Lament (19,186) *

2 Steps - What the Future Holds, Pt. 2 (16,277)

2909 sales separate them, both should easily sell 25k at the least, maybe Steps have even a small chance of overtaking but i know its unlikely.

The promo will help hopefully but it is good to see they are doing well with sales, for both steps and manics both their streaming points will be low.
Shame it’s unlikely to be number 1. But another number 2 album is nothing to be sniffed at.

Pretty decent sales so far! Quite safely ahead of #3. It's a bit frustrating because it seems highly likely that Steps will sell more to be #2 this week than the #1 albums sold 2 and 3 weeks ago...

Also I think this should dispel the notion that the album's Pt. 2 title would make the public think it's merely a reissue/deluxe. This album has already considerably outsold the Tears deluxe (that did about 11k in a full week - and it had download, vinyl, CD and 5 individual member CDs + any sales of the standard album that week - whereas this new album is 16k+ after 3 days). There's a reasonably high chance that WTFH Pt. 2 will achieve the third highest sales needed to place at #2 in 2021.

Always the bridesmaids...!
