I don't think they've ever openly admitted to the "streams don't count on a Thursday, they're estimated instead" detail!

Steps should actually benefit from streaming against Manics on Thursdays update as they have been consistently higher all week so even if Manics did actually out stream steps today steps would still get the higher “estimated” stream total!

Only 300 behind? That means people are waking up and downloading the album like they should have done.

All we know still is that it's 330 copies difference, we'll find out nothing else until tomorrow's chart (Feel the Fever saying 300 is repeating earlier information :kink: )

Did everyone get a 2nd email relating to downloading the album?

 

I just had one saying ‘You’ve just received this email because you still need to download your purchase’

 

But I already have downloaded both and it’s all on my laptop :(

 

I’m guessing it’s just a way to make sure everyone else?

I got the same email, but I definitely downloaded them (as a zip files) and extracted it to iTunes, soooo I guess they're just emailing everybody who purchased and are hoping to target the ones that haven't. Nevertheless I did it again because they made me feel nervous :lol:

 

Maybe Townsend should try and invest in a download system that makes the download start automatically after purchase, then there wouldn't be all of this hoo-hah with getting everyone to do it properly.

 

I find it interesting that this didn't happen with the Night Out/Night In albums (i.e. them intensely making sure we all download it properly). Makes me wonder how many "missing sales" there were last time, or if they didn't care too much because there was no chance of #1 that time, they were just satisfied to get the money?
