Ahh so the vinyls were added in today’s totals.

I'm hoping that maybe not all of them were processed in time and there'll still be some vinyl sales to be added for the Friday chart, fingers crossed!

 

Steps definitely have the edge on streaming, I assume they will on downloads too. The CDs are keeping pace with Manics, and Steps will also presumably have a few cassette sales today that Manics won't have achieved because theirs is sold out. I think the main worry comes down to vinyl, considering that all of Manics' variants have still been in stock today. If anything is going to tip things in favour of Manics it will be vinyl.

 

It really seems like this could be a photo finish tomorrow, so close... I'm so nervous! Not sure if I've ever wanted a fave artist of mine to get a #1 more than I do now :lol:

Looks like it, although I thought they couldn't be added until they were shipped? My shipped email didn't arrive until today so I'm hoping that they are not all of them at least!

This will def be a photo finish I'm just hoping its Steps who can do it.I wonder will they do anything next week to try and propel sales for week 2.

Well that's it, the sales week is over :o Now we just have to wait a maximum of 17 hours to find out the result x

Ya im excited and nervous for the chart reveal tomorrow, even they get the number 1 by a single sale i would be so happy, on most other weeks i would be happy to see the manic street preachers be number 1 but not this week.

Only 7 or 8 hours until we find out where this debuted in Australia.

What will be a good result for you for Australia and what would be disappointing? For Ireland i just dont know how this will go, tears on the dancefloor debuted at number 10 and what the future holds holds debuted at 26 and dropped out of the chart very quickly so im hoping this can hopefully go top 20 here.

I think a good result would be top 50, a great result top 30 and top 20 exceptional. Tears on the Dancefloor managed #46 but What The Future Holds pt1 got to #26 on debut. So hopefully it’s similar to that.

 

I think there might’ve been midweek reports of it challenging for top 10 but I could be wrong.

I am surprised what the future holds performed better than tears on the dancefloor but good to see them getting success no matter what album it is, hopefully they can follow the trend of the last 2 albums and improve on the chart positions of those.

I have a feeling Steps might take the Number 1and will have done it at death nail of time.

Yeah I was Shelby that too at the time. Hopefully the upwards trend continues.

 

They were meant ti tour here last year as part Pop Music tour.

Any international chart positions in yet? I know the Manics don’t do well outside the UK so here’s hoping for some number 1’s.

Australian chart debut should be within the hour.

Debuted at #11 in Australia. Disappointed it’s missed the top 10 but I never expected to get this high so I’m so pleased.

Even in bed I was thinking about Steps' chart position. Obviously I'm very excited about what happens today.

I've agreed to work tonight so I won't find out until after :(
