And let’s hope it will get some week in the top 200/reach silver status.

Is there a sales update?

I'm expecting it to be 41-50 region this week. :(
I kind of think the same but am also hoping it can stay top 40, i hope the tour can get some interest in the album again and it will start selling.

Seems like that was wishful thinking, it's midweek 63!

The albums chart is so closely packed together, so their fall is going to look drastic with physical sales drying up and streaming not cushioning the fall (due to it being so much lower than most albums in the chart). Last week's midweek 63 had sold 621.

Flipping heck :o what an ugly chart run. Shame though, pity they stop all promo after release week.

Starting to think maybe they should have just repackaged it as a re-release of WTFH and then had a disc 2 titled "One Foot In The Future" with all the new tracks, then at least these sales would have gone towards the album getting Gold quicker, would have been over 100,000 copies by now. (That's if it sold the same quantity of course which it very well may not have done ala TOTDF: CATD.

Thats so disappointing, ya maybe the 2 disc deluxe take might have been better as sales would have added to the original but sales and charts aside im happy with the quality of the album and it was well worth releasing by itself,

Oh I agree, I love it definitely in my top Steps albums.

The rapid fall in the charts is disappointing but takes nothing away from the quality of the album.
Yes like many others the sales and chart run doesnt give the measure of a good or bad album, luckily in this case its a really solid album that can hopefully steady a bit after this week and also pick up when the tour hits, i still think they release like a boxset of part 1 and part 2 together in time for Christmas.

Please god no, I can't spend anymore money on them

Also I wonder how that would work for sales, like which record would they go to?

Maybe the quality of part 1 didn't convince some, besides, Take Me For A Ride wasn't a strong lead single and The Slightest Touch was just another cover version. Probably too little to buy Part 2.
There wasn't really many opportunities for TV performances this time though sadly, that could've helped. Need more shows where artists can perform.

I agree about take me for a ride it's probably their weakest lead single which is annoying when they had so much stronger tracks on the album. The slightest touch for me is a great cover and very Steos and when I heard it, it really upped my excitement for the album.

As I said in the listening party thread, Take Me For a Ride is not a bad song in the slightest. The issue with it is that it follows a spectacular run of singles (including a lot of TOTD singles) and so by default, Take Me… pales somewhat in comparison.

I like it more than I did now, that added intro on the album version makes it.

Yeah, there were much better single choices available but what can ya do?

The album intro really made the song click for me and it's up there with their other singles now but initially it didn't click so I get that. However the cover thing isn't really valid as Something in your eyes was a cover too.
