A remix has indeed now entered the Spotify top 200 - combined it would be #19 today, which possibly goes some way towards explaining its high official position yesterday.

(I've never heard of either of the featured artists though).

 

Interestingly the version doing well on Apple is another remix which is different to both of the versions charting on Spotify! So possible that one is also doing decent numbers outside the Spotify top 200 pushing it up even further when combined.

 

(my post was more referring to the prospect of it getting a new remix with a huge British or North American name similar to Justin Bieber hopping on 'Essence', although it looks like the song is blowing up even more than 'Essence' did without needing any help from outside Africa anyway, on course to potentially become a pretty huge hit it seems)

 

I mean once you invent a game theory expert chart manipulator Ed Sheeran in your head, literally everything he does or has happen to him will find a way to reinforce this fact :lol:

Would like to see Clean Bandit get a top 20 with this in the coming weeks as it seems to be improving on both main streaming platforms.
