(Also someone bought Ugly and Red Dress in Ireland - they're #185 and #186 there - Essential Sugababes success?)

Get those sales :cheer:

Awesome to see it appearing top 10 on the UK charts. We know iTunes sales don't mean much these days, but it's still a very nice result.

Exactly! I know sales are pitiful, but this is pretty cool indeed.

Apparently the Overload cd had 2500 copies printed?
The US?? Wow. I mean, it's probably 15 gays downloading this and will disappear soon but STILL. Fantastic to see them in some US chart.

Seriously?! I'm impressed by that. I'd love to know its sales worldwide by the end of the first week.

Oh that’s good! And there will have been a few multipack formats bought so 2.5k plus the Spotify cassettes that didn’t come with those puts us easy around the 3k mark. Not too shabby for a 21 year old album

Album: One Touch

iTunes:

#7 United Kingdom

#7 New Zealand

#7 Norway

#8 Denmark

#43 Australia

#52 Canada

#73 Bulgaria

#73 Germany

#76 United States

#90 Singapore

(Soul Sound is also at #48 in New Zealand.)

Fallen to #9 on UK iTunes, so I guess #7 will be the peak. Still, considering that most non-looney people will just have bought one format and probably not bothered with iTunes (they can just listen on Spotify), it's not too shabby.

True! I'm more than satisfied with a #7 iTunes peak. Of course, the biggest bulk of its sales will be physical anyway.

My understanding is that the Overload cd single is numbered and it's all sold out. So they've sold at least 2500 copies worldwide of any package that includes the cd single. Of course, the issue is that overseas sales won't count to the UK charts. But at least it's money in the bank and showing that they can still be a profitable act?
