September 30, 20213 yr The next single has been announced as The Slightest Touch! Love that is will be an official single as i genuinely love it, go on Steps and go for it and release a vinyl and cd single to support it and get a top 75 with it.

October 1, 20213 yr I really like the video they have. If they got some tv promo for this it might help it do something as I think the older fans will remember the original and I genuinely think steps have done a brilliant cover.

The lack of performances is sorely missed for both this and the previous era which is having an effect on album sales. Selling an album is hard these days and performances are needed more than ever The Slightest Touch should be performed and promoted and it might help the album attract sales as it is a great choice of single. They need to do a Friday release with all out promotion video radio tour everything to have a chance of charting.

I agree they need everything in full throttle in the one week of they have any chance of top 100. I think they could easily sell 5000 physical singles in the UK. To cover everyone they should make 10k available as they will sell through. Ideally I would do a cd and vinyl bundle to get sales from each sale, if I know it's a big IF but they done that they could come very close to top 40, fans would love it and support it.

They release Thursdays. Also it wouldn't be embarrassing as that would be a great achievement for an artist of their time. Kylie achieved #56 #53 and #95 with her latest album and she is a much bigger star than Steps.
October 3, 20213 yr Steps are not a singles act anymore so there is no embarrassment. Steps are no different to artists like Take That, Robbie Williams, Madonna,Kylie etc with how singles perform
