Aww I was hoping MCR would win, but I can't complain at what beat them as that's great too, the whole top 5 are all modern classics!

Same, I thought MCR could win (especially after Stereophonics won for 2005) but Maneater's great too, and at least it was close! I'd have swapped out Shakira for Madonna in the top 5, but otherwise can't argue with these results.

I gave Star Girl quite a few points - what a tune! Last Year I gave All About You 12 points but it didn’t make the Top 10. They seem to be woefully underrated on here. :(

 

I’m quite surprised Maneater won - I do love it but the rest of the Top 5 seem more enduring classics to me.

Orson kept out the top 10 is annoying. Should have kept my gob shut about Arctic Monkeys :lol:

 

The final positions strike me as very Buzzjack. I would have put money on gnarls barkley winning, pipping Scissor sisters, in an actual popularity poll among the general public. Madonna 3rd. The only one in the top 10 I dont rate is Fedde Le Groan, and I feel Orson were robbed!
