Posted October 22, 20215 yr Uhsting's Top 50 More graphical version of my chart can be found on Crownnote: http://crownnote.com/charts/uhsting/uhstin...op-50-songs-126 Chart commentary: There are 13 new entries this week, the lowest in weeks! This week also features the lowest highest debut in weeks as well, with the highest debut entering at no. 23 by songwriter Laurell who is behind a lot of the Eurovision songs we know. Other new entries feature a myriad of backgrounds. Come Through finally tops the chart after loitering at no. 2 for 2 weeks. Last week's number one entrant drops respectfully to no. 3, with I AM 100% and FLARE coming into top 10, and CTRL + ALT + DEL re-entering top 10. Biggest jump goes to roots (not by Alice Merton), jumping 23 positons to no. 21. Grace Davies surely knows how to perform a ballad well, and I'm as impressed as her previous single Amsterdam! 1. October 22, 20215 yr Author Number One Entry aN1y6808wjY This truly slays with the lyrics and the instrumentation. I'm enjoying the style a lot and the song is a breath of fresh air! Highest New Entry xRDQzymLo2I Quite Laurell is under the label of Position Music. After all, she is credited as songwriter in so many Eurovision songs! This is a banger and the instrumentation is neat. :D Could see this grow on me more! Biggest Jump lOBdeUkNm4w Grace Davies impresses me the most with her deep and emotional ballads. Amsterdam hit me really had but this is another concerted effort from her! It is growing on me rapidly at the moment. One to Watch le6OS1l4ncc Recent Position Music releases are decent. This is no different. The quirky instrumentation fits really well with the theme of the songs. The vocals are amazing and the melodies are hitting all the right notes for me!
October 23, 20215 yr Just given your #1 a listen having completely forgotten it was entered to BJSC! I didn't watch the videos this time round which explains why it didn't click immediately. Nice to see The Color having a decent run here though! I gave Rollercoaster Baby a few listens but it never clicked with me as much as their stuff from last year did, glad you're enjoying it though,
October 24, 20214 yr Author Just given your #1 a listen having completely forgotten it was entered to BJSC! I didn't watch the videos this time round which explains why it didn't click immediately. Nice to see The Color having a decent run here though! I gave Rollercoaster Baby a few listens but it never clicked with me as much as their stuff from last year did, glad you're enjoying it though, Hi Pete! Come Through is a forgotten gem from BJSC sadly :( It slayyys hard! Stranger is an extremely catchy Christian bop. I was scared for a moment when the song was briefly made unavailable on Spotify but glad it had returned before I did my listening routine with all the top 50 potentials. I like Rollercoaster Baby's instrumentation the most actually. I think it incorporates some daily sounds that you won't find in most pop songs and classical music well and they are pretty cute and accessible. This is why it clicks with me :D
October 24, 20214 yr Hi Uhsting, Nice entry for Robin Packalen :cheer: Many great tracks in the chart... Best tracks in the bubbling under: Diplo and Years & Years

I've known Laurell only from "Habit" and this was another great song from her! Under the top 50, I like seeing most of the songs in there. Great chart! Habit is such a tune from Laurell. It is catchy due to the trumpets in the song :o She really knows her stuff when it comes to arrangement and songwriting ;) Will we see her write more songs for more countries in Eurovision next year? Fingers crossed! Thanks Sergej!

October 29, 20214 yr Author Such an interesting chart! I know at least 2 songs in your top 50! Must get to try out some of your tracks... Great stuff! Hi Toffo! Surely have a listen to some of the songs on the chart! :D I like all of them for different reasons ;) Hi Uhsting! :) Grace Davies sounds nice thanks for the link, and I must check out the Oh Wonder track, still not heard it! :o McFly & Carlito - THE McFly?? No, just checked! Years & Years, and Coldplay are the only others I'm sort of aware of! :o Keep on charting stuff no-one else is! Good to see :) Hi john! McFly & Carlito originally mistakenly named the track as McFly & Carlito so I thought it was another Bigflo & Oli (track name is the same as artist name) but they changed in since. Oh Wonder has a creative album dropped with some minimalistic but wonderful songs! Thanks for the comment for keep charting stuff nobody else does! It is my pleasure to share songs that are not well-known to all of you :D
