With less than 3 weeks to go, I thought I’d start a poll to see how you all think Red (Taylor’s Version) is going to perform in its debut week.

Just for some context, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) debuted at #1 with 21,145 equivalent sales. Will Red out perform this? Can she snatch a #1 in a week where Little Mix, Rod Stewart & Kylie Minogue release albums & Ed Sheeran’s album is released just a couple of weeks earlier on the 29th October.

Going for #5 or #6 with about 33k.. sales will def be higher due to Q4 and I think people have been anticipating 'Red' more than they ever did for 'Fearless'.

Predicting the top 5 to be:

01. Abba (wk 2)

02. Ed (wk 3)

03. Rod (New)

04. Little Mix / Taylor / Kylie (New)

05. Taylor / Little Mix / Kylie (New)

06. Kylie / Taylor / Little Mix (New)

I do think LM will beat them, but I also think Taylor and Kylie stand a good chance of "surprising", so idk. It's gonna be close between Taylor and Kylie for sure.

Gonna say #5 with 30-35k, I think Taylor should be able to beat Kylie.

There also wasn't a vinyl for Fearless when that came out but there is for this so that will help slightly too.

#3 with 35,000-39,999 units. (not good at this guessing stuff, but here)

Snap B-)

That’s why I think this could surprise us :cheer:

I’m gonna say #4 debut and peak.

Sales wise it’ll be comfortably ahead of what the Taylor’s Version of Fearless did though. Red was a bigger era in the UK as it was the start of her moving away from purely being a Country music artist and being more of the icon she is now. I think she can easily clear 30K. Gonna say around 35K total sales.

She’d have been an easy #1 had it been this week :( gutted she’s gonna lose her #1 streak what she’s actually kept since the Original release of Red!

I’m expecting she’ll be #4 behind ABBA at #1, Ed #2 and Rod at #3. I do think on release week she’ll beat Little Mix but they may well overtake from the following week.

I’ll be gutted too when / if it doesn’t get to #1 but guess it was unrealistic to expect all of the re-recording to hit #1.

Interested to see if Little Mix do come behind Taylor in debut week…

I feel like I need to edit my prediction to top 2. I mean is #1 beyond the realm of possibility? I’m going to be glued to the updates for all of the next charting week!
