The other day I was watching an Ariana musical evolution video and it got me thinking... which year has been your favourite to follow from Ariana's career so far? Were you rooting for her all the way back in the Victorious days or would you pick just last year as your favourite so far? Share away!

I think my favourite year to date was 2018! I have been a fan since 2013 but that was the year that kicked it up a notch for me, despite 'Dangerous Woman' now being my favourite Ariana album. There was a period of time that year where she was delivering some killer songs - I loved 'no tears left to cry', 'God is a woman' (this was a grower but a HUGE one and remains my favourite Ariana song) and 'breathin' back-to-back - all with fantastic videos, plus the collaboration with Troye Sivan 'Dance To This' that summer as well, then later in the year we saw her becoming a record breaker with the 'thank u, next' single, so also a very exciting transitional period in terms of success - her first Billboard Hot 100 #1 felt like a moment. Plus we got some great U.K. promo as well like her BBC show and Live Lounge performances. It wasn't perfect of course, the 'sweetener' album wasn't as great as some of her others for me, but this year still stands out as an exciting one for all the reasons stated, plus I loved her platinum blonde look that year as well. Also in my personal life I was undergoing a massive shift from University student to out in the real world so her music was a huge comfort around that time and brings back positive memories for an otherwise daunting period.
Hard for me to choose between 2015 and 2016. 2015 had two of my favorite singles in 'One Last Time' and 'Focus' (unpopular opinion, I know :P) as did 2016 with 'Into You' and 'Side To Side'. She had back-to-back #1s in my personal chart with both of those pairs as well. But another career highlight for me was her Grammy performance of 'Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart'...so I'll go with 2015!

Ooh interesting pick! My feelings on 'Focus' are well documented enough but I love 'One Last Time' too and that Grammys performance is stunning, definitely one of her best TV moments
