They definitely should do multiple vinyl variants. It’s the cassettes they can do without.

Yes I think they would be silly not to do the individual covers again, they should do one for each letter with the girl in it. I would be much much more tempted with this one than I was with spice it’s my fave album by them

Because bsides the cover change, what were the incentives for fans to buy the various vinyls? Had they had some tracklist changes, they could probably have sold more.

This should be more than just spiceworld formats, SW25 assuming things go to plan will be closer to what we hoped for for Spice25. You'll have other things to spend your money on than just a zillion formats ;)

I’m sure demand for Spice25 exceeded some expectations - there were second presses of all of them which weren’t quite the same as the originals - translucent vs opaque I think.

Yeah Spice 25 sold well (cassettes aside), just the absolute main focus of Spice 25 was the album re-release.

You'll have other things to spend your money on than just a zillion formats ;)

I wonder will they just go with 1 type of cassette or 5 with them each having a solo cover and same with the cd. The vinyl will be the big attraction, it would be great if they got more involved as a group to promote the release, a few in store signings would be great but will never happen

I dont think we will get individual vinyls or CDs this time. Certainly the individual cassettes seemed really wasteful last time and didnt really sell that well so I dont think they will do that either.

 

Sadly, promotion wise they as a group will do very little if anything at all. None of them have even shared the globe that was posted yesterday...

I’d be amazed if their reaction to the biggest selling Spice 25 formats being individual member vinyl is to go “ok we won’t do those this time”. :thinking:
