Buzz at the time felt slightly disappointing in compasrison to the prevous 2 albums but i think nowadays the album is better than i originally gave it credit for.

I remember thinking similar but now I have no idea why it as it is much stronger than Steptacular as a body of work.

Definitely much stronger and like you I don't know how I didn't see that at the time.

 

I was similar too from memory. I liked it but don’t think o was quite ready for the slightly more mature sound. Looking back though it is very strong. Not many duds on it for me.

and 24 years later i still love it, its always been a massive fave of mine and so glad it went Number 1 for them.
If you were handling the album on its release would you change the run of singles?

Maybe slightly, I’d need to think about it a more.

 

If I did it just be changing one thing I think.

Wow, how time goes by so quickly! Not my ultimate favorite, but a very enjoyable single.

 

Buzz is one of my favorite albums by them. More mature, but still very Steps :heart:

 

The thing I would change? Swap Here and now/You’ll be sorry for Paradise Lost as the last release of the album.

Over time Buzz has moved up my ranking alot, the singles overall that they picked were mostly the right choices but Paradise Lost really was a missed opportunity and id swap it out for you;ll be sorry

I think that’s the only change I’d make as well.

 

I have liked Happy Go Lucky, but can’t really replace any of the other singles.

Happy Go Lucky im all for, as a single om sure sure if it could have done any better than the singles we got but as a song i prefer it to some of the singles,
Glad I’m not the only who enjoyed Happy go lucky as well :heart: Would be interesting to see what this could’ve done as a single!
