Posted December 6, 20213 yr Hello all! Exactly 364 days since my last EOY, it's time for a new one ^_^ I hadn't started this a few days ago but since I can re-use the Python program I wrote last year I can whip this up relatively quickly :magic: You'll have a Top 200 again to give a broader range of songs you might actually know. Here are the basics: Same format as usual - 100 points for a week at #1, 1 point for a week at #100, I can add or take away up to 300 points from any given song and songs still in the chart will have the remainder of their run estimated so we don't end up with a ton of songs from January at the top. Songs mentioned in last year's chart aren't in this one unless they're significantly higher. I will shortly be posting my Year In Music recap, along with a list of all the #1s in my chart this year, which you may or may not know. After that you'll get a 2020 Recap, a Worst Songs Chart and a Mainstream Song of the Year, and then the Top 200 starting after next Saturday which will be counted into the chart.Any and all comments are very much welcomed!
December 6, 20213 yr Author 2021 in Music Nice and brief this year! My tastes in music have pretty much stayed the same (e.g. indie and dance) although brief forays into African/Caribbean worship, rap and even Welsh indie have peppered my chart at various points during the year. A range of tracks have stayed at the top during the year, however we once again broke the barrier with a SIX-week #1 in the form of Amy Shark's 'Baby Steps'. As with before, some songs did sort-of stay by #1 by default, although there were a few weeks in which I was incredibly happy with all the songs in my Top 10 being there.
December 6, 20213 yr Author This Year's #1s: Danny Vera - Rollercoaster (1wk) CoCo & The Butterfields - Night Avenue (1wk) *Danny Vera - Rollercoaster (4wks) Foo Fighters - Waiting On A War (3wks) Wolf Alice - The Last Man on Earth (3wks) TobyMac - Help Is On The Way (Maybe Midnight) (2wks) Schiller x Alphaville - Summer in Berlin (3wks) Allday - Void (2wks) Land of Color - Show Me What It Means (1wk) *Allday - Void (3wks) Amy Shark - Baby Steps (6wks) Charleon - Her Name (3wks) Sam Fender - Seventeen Going Under (5wks) Claptone & Seal - Just a Ghost (2wks) FINNEAS - A Concert Six Months From Now (2wks) London Grammar - America (1wk) White Lies - As I Try Not To Fall Apart (3wks) The Knocks - River (ft. Parson James) (1wk) Nico & Vinz - Trouble (3+wks) That's a total of 17 #1s, an all-time low :nocheer: Maybe we'll get more next year?
December 7, 20213 yr I'm excited to hear some songs and artists I would otherwise never listen to from your countdown :)Â I'm also excited to see what bangers you've included in your worst songs chart
December 8, 20213 yr Hi there Pete! I'll be excited to see your Year-End list this year. I'll have to first finish my Year-End list of last year, before I'm going to make the Year-End lists for this year.
December 8, 20213 yr Author 2020 Recap rxdpozZtJkc 1. Declan McKenna - The Key to Life on Earth 2. Declan McKenna - Beautiful Faces 3. The Coronas & Gabrielle Aplin - Lost in the Thick of It 4. Ball Park Music - Day & Age 5. NEEDTOBREATHE - Who Am I 6. Cavetown - Sweet Tooth 7. Oh Wonder - Hallelujah 8. Jack Garratt - Better 9. Martin Solveig & Roy Woods - Juliet & Romeo 10. The Howl & The Hum - Hostages As well as being the year of the lockdown, 2020 was also the year of the Declan McKenna as he took the Top 2 spots on my EOY last year as well as spending most of it in the Top 10 in one form or another. He did release a song this year so will be making an appearence in this EOY. In fact nearly all of my Top 10 artists last year carried on releasing music into 2021 - the only exceptions being Jack Garratt and The Howl and The Hum. Unfortunately none of Oh Wonder's new stuff has really stuck with me but the others could all re-emerge this year (or maybe they won't - we'll see!)
December 8, 20213 yr Author I'm excited to hear some songs and artists I would otherwise never listen to from your countdown :) I'm also excited to see what bangers you've included in your worst songs chart  Worst songs chart will be coming tomorrow :magic: There are a mix of songs in it but I'm sure there'll be some you like in there  Thanks Lewis! Hi there Pete! I'll be excited to see your Year-End list this year. I'll have to first finish my Year-End list of last year, before I'm going to make the Year-End lists for this year. Hope you enjoy following along Sergej! I'll make sure to carry on following your chart as well.
December 9, 20213 yr Author Worst Songs of 2021: #5: Lil Nas X – MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name) You know what, instead of bashing this song I’ll use this opportunity to talk about my faith instead. The past year has allowed me to understand my existence in the world a lot more, and to put things into perspective which has in turn prompted me to spend more time alone with God. I’ve been able to talk things through, and whilst I’m nowhere near perfect I’ve felt more able to face the world around me, as well as cope with disappointments, by trusting that God has my best interests at heart even when it doesn’t feel like it for me. I know that Jesus is with me regardless of how much I mess up or fall back to the person I am, and that’s been enough to keep me sane through a lockdown by myself. And I’m sure that’s more pleasant to read than me moaning about this song! #4: GAYLE – abcdefu I’m using this song basically as a scapegoat for all the various ‘I hate my ex-partner so I’m going to publicly humiliate them without a care in the world for their mental health’ songs that have popped up this year. That’s not saying that Justus Bennetts, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish and Nessa Barrett are getting away with it that lightly, it’s just the fact that this is a) the most recent and b) the most blatant of this new genre of song. And of course the whole thing is made even more of an uncomfortable listen by her not-particularly-savoury throughout the track. Why can’t people just be happy for their ex-partners? #3: Drake, Future & Young Thug – Way 2 Sexy Drake’s back in this countdown after a few years off! When I heard that this was a reworking of the famous Right Said Fred track I had a little bit of hope, however that was very quickly dispelled when I heard the track itself which seems to take any ounce of funk out of the original and turn it into... let's be kind and say 'something I wouldn't go back to in a hurry'. The Future and Young Thug sections aren’t quite as difficult to listen to as Drake’s section but that’s nowhere near enough to salvage it from its position here. #2: Tion Wayne & ArrDee – Wid It Tion Wayne’s third consecutive year with a track in this countdown, he must be honoured (and no, I didn’t just include this so I could drag out the ‘tea on Wayne’ pun again). He’s joined this time round by rapper of the moment Aitch ArrDee (still not convinced they’re not the same person) who sings about objectifying women. And of course we have the obligatory ‘mmm-mmm’s which characterise every Tion song and get him easily into the upper echelons of this chart. (I'm assuming 'wid' means 'with' although I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out it's got some vulgar meaning as well). #1: Digga D – 2k17 I was debating whether to exclude this song or not as the guy has been in prison for stabbing someone, but Radio 1 seem to think it’s ok to play him so that’s enough to have the big fat honour of Worst Song of the Year. Let’s start off with the obvious fact that the sound of the song is by no means the loveliest and would probably have caused him to top this chart on its own. I… I think he’s trying to sing in the chorus? Whatever it is, if he’d have recorded a dying rat and included that in the chorus it would probably have sounded a little nicer. Anyway, that’s very much the light and fluffy section - if you wade your way through all the gang speak, you'll find out that this song is basically about how he wants to stab people, as well as glorifying shooting (the ‘Double Tap’ in the chorus is a reference to reloading a firearm). In fact there’s even a line in the chorus making fun of someone who was stabbed to death. I really hope Digga D is able to learn the error of his ways, as his music really can't be having a positive influence on the UK's gangs. Let's add our winner to the Hall of Fame: Hall of Fame 2014: Bars & Melody - Hopeful 2015: Drake - Hotline Bling 2016: Drake - Controlla 2017: Post Malone ft. Quavo - Congratulations 2018: Tyga ft. Offset - Taste 2019: Russ & Tion Wayne - Keisha & Becky 2020: Cardi B & Meghan Thee Stallion - WAP 2021: Digga D - 2k17
December 10, 20213 yr I'm not as enthused about worst lists as I was in the past, but I decided to check yours out. I like "Montero" and "Wid It". Thought "Way 2 Sexy" was okay, but wasn't a fan of "abcdefu" and "2k17". Â
December 10, 20213 yr can't moan with that #1, although that wasn't the worst of his songs this year for me ('Wasted' takes that title), the constant references to stabbing/shooting people are even a bit much for me but I realise I'm not exactly the target audience for this kind of music (although I did quite enjoy Russ/Tion 'Body' which I'm surprised missed the cut here in favour of 'Wid It'!)Â in fact I'm not overly keen on any of that top five so err, yay! 'Way 2 Sexy' has to be one of the absolute worst Drake songs, he's really lost me as a fan this era as there's barely anything worth caring about on the entire album.
December 10, 20213 yr Author Mainstream Song of the Year: Sam Fender - Seventeen Going Under WAifgn2Cvo8 The actual EOY position of the award-winners here has been in constant decline ever since 2016, and up until the last two months of the year it was looking as though we would have a Mainstream Song that didn't even make the Top 100 of my EOY. Thankfully that all changed in late November when Sam Fender, already a #1 in my chart, jumped into the Top 10 giving us the best song to do so almost ceertinly since '7 Years'. That means that, like Lukas, he's also very much a contender for the overall title, but will he make it? Follow along and see... Mainstream Song of the Year: Hall of Fame 1999: Fatboy Slim - Praise You 2000: Madison Avenue - Don't Call Me Baby 2001: Kylie Minogue - Can't Get You Out Of My Head 2002: DJ Sammy & Yanou ft. Do - Heaven 2003: Room 5 - Make Luv 2004: Eric Prydz - Call On Me 2005: Arctic Monkeys - I Bet You Look Good On the Dancefloor 2006: Scissor Sisters - I Don't Feel Like Dancin' 2007: MIKA - Grace Kelly 2008: Basshunter ft. DJ Mental Theo's Bassheadz - Now You're Gone 2009: Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling 2010: Taio Cruz - Dynamite 2011: LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem (ft. December 10, 20213 yr Author I'm not as enthused about worst lists as I was in the past, but I decided to check yours out. I like "Montero" and "Wid It". Thought "Way 2 Sexy" was okay, but wasn't a fan of "abcdefu" and "2k17". Didn't see you as a drill-rap fan! I guess all 5 of my Worst Songs Chart are quite different genre-wise (which was semi-deliberate) so there's more chance of there being more songs some people dislike. Thanks Dalek! can't moan with that #1, although that wasn't the worst of his songs this year for me ('Wasted' takes that title), the constant references to stabbing/shooting people are even a bit much for me but I realise I'm not exactly the target audience for this kind of music (although I did quite enjoy Russ/Tion 'Body' which I'm surprised missed the cut here in favour of 'Wid It'!) in fact I'm not overly keen on any of that top five so err, yay! 'Way 2 Sexy' has to be one of the absolute worst Drake songs, he's really lost me as a fan this era as there's barely anything worth caring about on the entire album. I can't remember many of the lyrics to 'Wasted' but the fact part of it is a sample and not his own material means that it can't be as awful as 2k17 :P Body missed the chop partly becuase Tion already had a similar song in the countdown and partly because the likes of Keisha & Becky mean that it's not got the 'my goodness that's horrendous' factor it would have if I was listening to that style of music for the first time - I'm still not a fan! Thanks Dan ^_^
December 10, 20213 yr Oop Gayle's song just entered my chart this week so moving swiftly on... Great choice for Mainstream SOTY though, it's been great watching Sam's career just go up and up! I can definitely approve of the previous choices as well, the 00s especially ^_^
December 11, 20213 yr Couldn't care less with your #1 worst song since I rarely heard Digga D tracks. But yeah, I don't like abcdefu and Drake's new album either. A well-deserved one by Seventeen Going Under! Really enjoying it for a while.
December 11, 20213 yr Out of the five, 2k17 is the only one I that I really like. The chorus is a slightly worse remake of YoungBoy Never Broke Again's 'Make No Sense' but I think the flows on his verses are great.
December 11, 20213 yr Author And without any further ado, let's go! 200: VICTORIA - growing up is getting old 485pts NE (29/05/2021) 18-16-21-26-35-48-67-82-93-xx Kicking off with a Eurovision song since it's one you'll all know ;) One of the more ballad-y of the entries this year which made me quite the fan of it. 199: Joy Crookes - Trouble 486pts NE (27/11/2021) 48-45-39-... This could well continue to climb in my chart but I thought I ought to give it some love here since who knows whether it'll be high enough to make the Top 200 next year! This song really gets me even if it is just the same chorus repeated numerous times throughout. 198: Blanca - Even At My Worst 491pts NE (01/05/2021) 48-46-40-39-52-61-82-77-73-64-69-76-86-81-100-xx The first of many worship songs in this countdown, I discovered this song before the masses and it is musically a really good track, the way it builds to a really grabbing chorus in the second and last verses is quite something.  197: Keuning - From Stardust 491pts NE (10/07/2021) 44-47-54-56-61-51-51-59-51-57-69-90-xx Ex-Killers guitarist Keuning is continuing to release music and had a few singles out this year. This one definitely takes a bit of getting used to as it doesn't showcase his voice as well as some of the lower-pitch songs do but it is pretty catchy and racked up quite a chart run here. 196: Mans Zelmerlow & Polina Gagarina - Circles and Squares 492pts NE (24/04/2021) 29-24-21-22-28-45-52-79-93-xx Ex-Eurovision winner and runner-ups here (we love Eurovision friendships!) making one of the most pop-heavy songs you'll find in this countdown! It has a real earworm-y chorus which got me very into this one for a short period of time. 195: Gareth Emery & THE LASERS - Sad Song 493pts NE (03/04/2021) 13-18-24-38-51-64-81-96-xx I love the vocals in this song, as far as I can tell 'THE LASERS' are literally just the lasers in his shows so it must be his own vocals. I don't think I've heard any other songs with his own vocals in them but I definitely should! 194: Rend Collective - Coming Out Fighting 495pts NE (06/11/2021) 61-42-30-27-38-51-... One of our own worship songs now! (if you can call Northern Ireland 'our own'). Rend Collective are definitely a mixed bag but this one is definitely worth a listen and made it into my chart even though I completely passed it by on first listen. 193: Tep No & KT Tunstall - Heartbeat Bangs 496pts NE (17/04/2021) 11-16-21-25-33-47-74-95-xx KT Tunstall released quite a handful of tracks this year after being away for a few years, this one was surprisingly a dance track but her vocals work on it quite well I think! 192: Kungs - Regarde-moi 499pts NE (21/08/2021) 44-47-44-43-51-60-58-57-66-68-70-75-88-xx Kungs came back this year with a plethora of dance bangers, and the first appears here. This one is probably a bit less mainstream as it doesn't have any lyrics bar the title but it's perfect for those late summer days on the beach. 191: Janet Manyowa - Many Blessings 500pts NE (24/04/2021) 18-18-22-26-33-54-73-96-98-xx We commence our international tour of the Christian world with this fun song from Zimbabwe! It has everything you could want from an African worship song, an incredibly fun one to listen to. 190: Ryan Hylton, Hazel & Chantelle - Adonai (Lord) 501pts NE (06/03/2021) 9-15-21-26-41-57-69-80-xx This one is fantastic and a breath of fresh air in terms of UK worship songs, mixing pop and rap together to create something that is quite the earworm. Definitely worth a listen regardless of where you stan in terms of faith! 189: SOLON - Sideways 502pts NE (14/11/2020) 50-54-60-62-45-32-38-38-39-44-61-75-86-92-98-xx My final BJSC entry of 2020 which qualified as quite a surprise to me! It does have quite CamelPhat-y vibes to it although it's got its own identity as well (the fact SOLON refuses to reveal his identity is intersting as well)  188: CalledOut Music - Perfect Love 514pts NE (13/02/2021) 39-26-27-42-41-45-58-77-90-xx This is one of CalledOut Music's more mellow pieces - it's a beautiful song all about how God is working in his life. This song really resonated with me during the first part of the year. 187: Manizha - Russian Woman 526pts NE (29/05/2021) 16-15-20-23-33-43-61-74-98-xx This wasn't one of my favourite Eurovision entries on first listen but it grew on me a lot, there's something endearing about the rapping over whatever traditional instrument is being used, and of course the whole message is very positive as well. 186: Maverick City Music - Man of Your Word (ft. Chandler Moore & KJ Scriven) 528pts NE (05/12/2020) 82-49-50-61-61-56-52-63-74-82-82-80-83-83-85-89-88-96-xx RE (17/04/2021) 92-xx The longest song to ever grace my Personal Chart at a whopping 9:02, whilst it never made my Top 40 it definitely deserves a shoutout here as you can't listen to this without being filled with energy and joy from the whole vibe of this piece. 185: Mica Paris - Mamma Said 529pts NE (27/02/2021) 40-35-29-29-35-48-50-58-72-85-xx I had absolutely no interest in Mica Paris at the start of the year but this song is just - well, just so positive - that I couldn't pass it by! It's a real pick-me-up when the going gets tough. 184: BANNERS - It's Gonna Be OK 545pts NE (14/08/2021) 24-19-16-17-25-43-68-67-86-100-xx Another artist to return this year was BANNERS, who released an EP full of tunes including this ballad about, well, how things are going to be OK. It did sort-of drop off a cliff after a few weeks (maybe the minor key makes it a bit sad?) but it's still worth listening to. 183: Positive - More Than Good 550pts NE (21/08/2021) 25-31-42-49-61-82-70-73-81-85-81-87-90-87-xx Some fun Caribbean worship here! This one was initially very instant but continued to stick around in my head long after it entered my chart leading to quite an impressive run in the lower realms. 182: Samuel & Francesca Michelin - Cinema 552pts NE (24/07/2021) 38-43-49-53-52-65-61-61-65-76-80-90-75-75-80-xx The first BJSC song from this year to appear, this one has such catchy verses that just make you want to move plus a decent drop as well. Despite the low peak it racked up a very healthy chart run (which may in part have been due to the fact I didn't playlist it for weeks so it never grew old on me :kink:) 181: The Gray Havens - It's Possible 553pts NE (15/05/2021) 31-27-33-33-37-51-56-56-65-79-xx RE (31/07/2021) 90-xx Is this rap? Is it just slightly-rappy-pop? Who knows, but this is another incredibly catchy one from across the pond which I was immediately drawn to and can't really describe without playing you it. pf20naOzcLg YdB1Suk3Uy4
December 11, 20213 yr Author Oop Gayle's song just entered my chart this week so moving swiftly on... Great choice for Mainstream SOTY though, it's been great watching Sam's career just go up and up! I can definitely approve of the previous choices as well, the 00s especially ^_^ Yeah the whole premise of the GAYLE song doesn't do it for me unfortunately! Seventeen Going Under is a tune though, glad you're a fan of my previous choices as well - thanks Ansel! Couldn't care less with your #1 worst song since I rarely heard Digga D tracks. But yeah, I don't like abcdefu and Drake's new album either. A well-deserved one by Seventeen Going Under! Really enjoying it for a while. I don't blame you for not hearind Digga D  Glad you're enjoying Sam Fender though, good to see it in your chart the last few weeks! Thanks :D Totally agree with the Gayle song, doing nothing for me! Yeah, it's not great is it  Thanks Adam! Out of the five, 2k17 is the only one I that I really like. The chorus is a slightly worse remake of YoungBoy Never Broke Again's 'Make No Sense' but I think the flows on his verses are great. Not a massive fan of any of it I have to say - the violence of the lyrics really worry me as to how they might influence those who listen to it. Thanks Lewis!
December 13, 20213 yr Author 180: The Gardener & The Tree - out to sea 554pts NE (23/10/2021) 26-18-18-17-19-45-64-78-... One of the more bizarre artist names in my countdown, this Swiss band are a little Rag'n'Bone Man-esque so if you're into him then I'd recommend you give this a listen. It is falling down my chart at quite a rate now unfortunately. 179: The Fratellis - Half Drunk Under A Full Moon 556pts NE (20/03/2021) 36-38-31-28-27-30-43-53-75-93-xx The Fratellis have been hit and miss over the past year or so but this has been one of their better singles, not the traditional 'sort' of indie song I'd usually chart but I'll make an exception for these guys given how much their music shaped my childhood. 178: Sam Ryder - More 556pts NE (27/11/2021) 31-23-28-... Another recent song now, I definitely thought Sam Ryder was American but apparently he's not! This is a very feel-good song which grabbed me immediately but is beginning to wane on me a little now. 177: Wincent Weiss & Johannes Oerding - Die guten Zeiten 556pts NE (24/07/2021) 39-32-36-42-42-44-47-51-57-75-90-xx One of the few foreign language songs to make my chart this year, this has a fabulous brass riff in the chorus which makes it worth listening to even if I don't understand the words. 176: Robin Schulz & Dennis Lloyd - Young Right Now 557pts NE (20/11/2021) 40-53-49-40-... I considered moving this a bit higher but thought that there was a chance it might be in this countdown next year as well if it continnues to rise. This is one of those occasions when a collaboration between two good dance artists does actually produce a fantastic result and it continues to grow on me. 175: Fulminacci - Miss Mondo Africa 573pts NE (06/11/2021) 49-36-37-30-34-42-... Another foreign-language song now, this one is also very brass-heavy and has a sort-of Paolo Nutini texture to it (speaking of Paolo, isn't he supposed to be coming back soon?) Not got a clue what this one's about either but I'll blissully ignore the part where I can distinctly hear 'Playboy Africa' 174: Tom Grennan - Little Bit of Love 575pts NE (20/02/2021) 35-35-38-40-42-44-45-45-52-62-71-96-xx I might be being a little unfair on this one due to its over-exposure (I completely forgot about it when thinking about Best Single for the Buzzjack Awards!) but when it came out I was very happy with it, and delighted Tom has finally broken into the mainstream. 173: Sheppard - The Reason Why 580pts NE (20/11/2021) 48-41-36-34-... I think this is the first Sheppard song I've heard with the woman on lead vocals so it took me a while to warm to it but I'm very much enjoying it now! Expect it to continue climbing on my chart (although maybe after the Christmas flurry) 172: Kungs - Lipstick 582pts NE (06/11/2021) 41-29-33-34-42-47-... He sees my lipstick, he wants to kiss it! This is one of those brilliant dance songs which alternates high-pitched main vocals with a few words spoken in a very low-pitch voice (you know the sort!), this was Kungs' highest peaking song on my chart this year. 171: Two Year Vacation - What Goes Around 588pts NE (11/09/2021) 38-37-41-36-31-29-35-48-63-75-90-xx Another international indie band now - these guys are from Sweden despite the fact I was convinced they were American as everything about the song was giving off that vibe. This is a cheery number anyway and definitely worth a listen. 170: Jimi Cravity - Wonder 595pts NE (09/10/2021) 21-20-24-29-30-38-51-64-78-90-... It disappoints me greatly that Jimi Cravity hasn't taken a leaf out of Joel Corry's book and made a song called 'Gravity' but here we are. This is another song which is very different from your traditional worship ones, bringing a bit of country rock to the scene. 169: Charleon - Take a Chance 598pts NE (24/07/2021) 53-38-40-34-33-34-32-42-50-72-85-xx Charleon has another track coming a lot higher up this list but for now you can enjoy this piece of tropical house perfection (albeit more fitting when it was released in summer) 168: Amyl and The Sniffers - Hertz 603pts NE (24/09/2021) 16-15-14-18-22-31-50-70-82-89-xx If you don't love Australian women yelling over a guitar riff I don't know what's wrong with you. But seriously, this is good stuff if that's your gig and gave me a wave of nostalgia. 167: Klingande & Wrabel - Big Love 611pts NE (05/12/2020) 49-46-55-69-57-44-42-43-43-49-59-64-86-97-xx I *think* this is the highest non-top-40 song in my EOY? I'll take that back if another pops up but this is a pretty good dance track from two artists I like quite a lot. 166: YDE - BlindLife 610pts NE (23/01/2021) 52-37-31-30-34-42-51-54-64-71-86-77-85-94-xx RE (08/05/2021) 97-xx Another BJSC entry now, this was one of the best to be entered this year and grew on me after the contest. Very funky with some really chilled-out vibes as well. 165: The Roop - Discotheque 614pts NE (29/05/2021) 8-13-15-17-19-25-45-61-92-xx We're reaching the crunchy end of the Eurovision offerings from this year, I much preferred 'On Fire' to this but this was decent enough as well. 164: Melanie Waldman - Come Back (Psalm 80) 622pts NE (10/07/2021) 15-17-22-25-29-38-47-56-66-77-97-xx Ignoring the fact I don't think this song has anyhing to do with Psalm 80, this really is worth a listen as it's musically quite interesting and very chilled-out-cafe vibes. 163: grandson - Dirty 622pts NE (19/12/2020) 21-33-30-32-35-34-36-44-58-68-98-xx BJSC sticks its head up again here! grandson is another hit-and-miss act but this one was very good and a good example of the sort of indie music I can get behind. The music video is pretty interesting as well! 162: Disclosure - Watch Your Step (ft. Kelis) 624pts NE (27/02/2021) 57-71-31-24-23-27-26-33-50-63-87-96-xx Never thought Kelis would ever feel the need to grace my chart (edit: apparently she already did in 2017 with 'Icy Feet'!) but her voice works perfectly well with this punchy dance track from Disclosure. 161: Claptone - Wake Up (ft. James Vincent McMorrow) 624pts NE (31/07/2021) 39-30-32-29-28-29-39-45-56-72-88-xx And we finish off this section with one of Claptone's many new tracks this year, which as usual for him has quite a haunting vibe to it throughout but is also pleasant enough to keep on your playlist. JWRtw78HYxg boMNpNpTeTk
