December 9, 20213 yr Never realised that, both definitely make sense  I feel like there was more going about around this song when it was first out. Like they spoke about it a fair bit, can't find anything 13 years later though. I can’t remember much. Some stuff might be in here somewhere
December 9, 20213 yr 'Beware' is a solid album track, love the drama of it - wasn't expecting to see it out before 'No Can Do' and 'Can We Call a Truce'.
December 9, 20213 yr Also I just realised I gave Beware a 6. What was I thinking, probably a 7-8 but oh well.
December 13, 20213 yr Author 09. NO CAN DO Average 6.92 Highest scorer 9 HausofGucci Lowest scorer 3.5 dandy* All singles are now out from this era, second single from Catfights. The song was released in the United Kingdom and Ireland on 29 December 2008 as the album's second and final single. "No Can Do" is a pop song with influences of R&B and soul. It contains a sample of Sweet Charles Sherrell's "Yes It's You", and contains influences of Motown music and songs performed by The Jackson 5. The song received mixed reviews from critics, who were ambivalent towards its Motown influence. "No Can Do" peaked at number 23 on the UK Singles Chart and is one of the group's lowest-charting singles in the UK. SUGABABE AMELLE BERRABAH proved a real handful while making the video to the band's new single No Can Do - after accidentally grabbing hold of a dancer's MANHOOD! wuDsacuWGH8
December 13, 20213 yr Surely this is a rare occurrence where all the singles (all be it only two) are out this early, and before many album tracks.
December 13, 20213 yr Awww, I really like 'No Can Do' I feel like it only gets such a hard time because it was the second single and it flopped, I feel like at this point it was nigh-on impossible to revive the album anyway and anything else probably wouldn't have performed any better.
December 13, 20213 yr I find it rather dull as a song. Some things before it didn’t deserve to go out before it
December 13, 20213 yr Author 08. NOTHING'S AS GOOD AS YOU Average 7.30 Highest scorer 10 Matthdiamonds Lowest scorer 4.5 dandy* Track 10 is next, I think this is in a suitable position, it has some strong album tracks above it. Not a bad song at all, another one that probably wouldn't have worked as a single. In March 2009, the track was featured in an advert on the Disney Channel promoting Disney Channel Original Movies such as 'High School Musical', 'The Cheetah Girls' and 'Camp Rock'. wDGZtsb3SPg Edited December 13, 20213 yr by Simon.
December 14, 20213 yr Yeah I have to agree with that. Results have been pretty good so far. No huge shocks.
December 14, 20213 yr Author 07. YOU ON A GOOD DAY Average 7.57 Highest scorer 9.5 Quarantilas Lowest scorer 6 dandy* Tawdry Hepburn I expected this to be higher, I even double checked the score as it seemed to be doing really well. I expected to at least find an article or something where one of the girls would have brought this song up in conversation but can't find anything. This track to be fair came really close to being 5 or 6 as these three plus NAGAY all scored pretty closely! TuLew-oLNdI
December 14, 20213 yr I was obsessed with this song when the album came out. I don’t love it as much now but it’s still a solid song.
December 15, 20213 yr Author 06. CAN WE CALL A TRUCE Average 7.88 Highest scorer 11 AdamAloud Lowest scorer 3 Quarantilas Next up we have the closing track to the album, 'Can we call a truce'. I expected this to be higher having received 5 10's when the next track only received 2. Apparently this was originally called "We Can Call A Truce", according to someone on Popjustice. IBGo1jjwxLU
December 15, 20213 yr This is another one I loved when the album was first released. Would’ve been nice to see it in the top 5. Oh well.
