December 30, 20213 yr Oh amazing to read these, hope I can watch it somehow from abroad today! Love the CIN performances!!! And PI getting that tiny bit of promo
December 30, 20213 yr Author Omg reading back my posts, I was an emotional mess - not helped that it followed straight after A Star is Born :drama:
December 30, 20213 yr It was a shame to see basically only three sets (Glasto, CIN Rocks and Big Weekend), but turns out she hasn't done a lot of BBC performances in general. Still a very fun watch though, especially the CIN Rocks show which I have always loved. Her TEOG performance there is simply sublime! The only thing that was off for me was Telephone at Jonathan Ross. It happens very rarely, as she usually always delivers, but this has to be one of her worst performances? It seemed she really wasn't feeling it herself either.
December 30, 20213 yr Author Agreed! The CIN Rocks performance (and Radio 1 Big Weekend ) performances are great, especially The Edge of Glory. I also agree about the Telephone performance - it is surprisingly quite floppy for her and lacking her usual charisma and energy. Compared to everything else we saw too, it stuck out more-so!
December 30, 20213 yr Some of Telephone live performances have been lazy even on tours. Then again, she included it on her SB show and it was fierce.
December 30, 20213 yr Tbf she hasn't done that many BBC performances, so the fact they managed to pull a show together including interviews and videos is impressive. I hope she does more.
December 30, 20213 yr Author Some of Telephone live performances have been lazy even on tours. Then again, she included it on her SB show and it was fierce. Tbf you can't save a mediocre song from being just that :kink: but yeah the SB performance is perhaps the best Telephone performance we have? And at the BRITS obviously which is one of my faves overall but it's mainly because of DITD!
December 30, 20213 yr I’d love to see Gaga get a “Audience with” type show like what Adele had recently or what Ariana had a few year ago on the BBC. She’s got the material and fanbase to have one and it would definitely get an audience! They don’t seem to happen often but watching that made me really want one for her next era a chance to perform new and old material  Manifesting a Glasto headline slot too! Crazy to think she’s only done it once so far… just imagine Shallow at Glasto (tracks like You and I and Million Reasons as well would go OFF in that setting too) -_- The BBC show was a reminder of what a performer she is and always has been from the off! Nice to have a show dedicated to an artists who debuted in the 2000s decade shown too usually with shows like that it’s artists from the 70s or 80s so I hope that the Gaga show was a sign that we may get more shows dedicated to artists from this generation (I did see Adele had one earlier in the week as well). They have been doing quite a few recently; Spice Girls and Madonna as well. Obviously those did not start their career in the 00's but they are in the same "main pop girl" category as GaGa is. Would indeed love to see more of them.
