I've got a feeling this is going to be one of those that's alright to start with cos it's sounding different to a lot of other stuff around and is clearly displaying some talent, but if it sticks around in the charts for weeks on the end it's going to grate a lot. A bit like ArrDee and Oliver Twist.

 

Liverpool have a history of getting behind locals, so no doubt even the 'washed olders' will be pinging a quid on it.

even if you look at the songs Drake sample, there has been a huge decline in quality

I'm quite sure Drake is just trolling at this point. His commercial relevance is pretty small outside US/Canada/UK already and not improving with these.

I didn't realise 'Eazy' was officially billed to The Game as the lead artist, I've only seen discussion about it referring to it as a new Kanye song :lol: (btw it was apparently exclusively available on Spotify for its first 24 hours hence its high entry there while not showing up on Apple at all, it is now #59 on Apple after finally being released there)

 

If I'm counting from Wikipedia correctly Drake dropped 9 features last year and a grand total of 2 of them made the top 40 in the UK (both peaking in the 30s) while 3 missed the top 100 entirely, it's not exactly a huge shock that a feature on a Gunna song isn't becoming a big hit lol x I think it might have had a small chance of cracking the top 40 last week if it was dropped with the rest of the album as planned (although even then probably not if the reception to the song is anything to go by lol) but the hype around the Gunna album has largely passed now.

The chart listing for 'Packs And Potions' on Apple seems to have been hijacked by a randomer called 'FemzGram' (whose entire profile seems to consist of random songs by other artists uploaded under their own name, although they are all tagged as 'remix' with the original artists tagged as features so I'm not sure if they are slightly altered versions, either way it definitely doesn't look legit).
