October 7, 20222 yr This is alright on first listen, but it didn't massively grab me. Hopefully it'll grow. eOwzx_7iNBo
November 10, 20222 yr ‘Blood Upon the Snow’ with Bear McCreary, from the ‘God of War Ragnarok’ soundtrack, quietly released the other day. -32-6FqGW2E
November 10, 20222 yr poor hozier, there seems to be zero buzz at the moment Literally wouldn’t even know he had new music if it wasn’t for here - zero buzz.
November 11, 20222 yr Do we really expect there to be "buzz" about Hozier? (Especially with a soundtrack song)
November 11, 20222 yr Do we really expect there to be "buzz" about Hozier? (Especially with a soundtrack song) To be fair, the lead single 'Swan Upon Leda' didn't either. Even 'Nina Cried Power' and 'Almost (Sweet Music) both managed to make the Top 100 a couple of years back. It also got to only #33 in Ireland, whereas NCP reached #10 there.
November 11, 20222 yr Swan Upon Leda is really good but the lack of promotion from Hozier is startling.
November 14, 20222 yr I am surprised by how little promo he has done for it, the album will do well here in Ireland but im not so sure about the UK.
February 24, 20232 yr Hozier has a new Ep out Mar 17 called Eat Your Young EP EP track list: Eat Your Young All Things End Through Me (The Flood) Hozier said in a statement to fans that this is a taste of Unreal Unearth which will be releasing in late summer.
March 10, 20232 yr Eat Your Young has already been used in 18k videos on TikTok. Think this may be the song to bring him back into the charts Preview
March 10, 20232 yr I found a video from March 2nd with someone complaining that it only had 300 videos, so it’s grown loads in the last week!
March 11, 20232 yr but the song is not out, what are they using? the 5-second snippet? He posted a 30-second preview.
March 17, 20232 yr Hmm. I haven't heard the other two songs yet, but I'm finding 'Eat Your Young' a little dull. D9o_XTzYoa8
March 18, 20232 yr Hopefully it grows on me, but I’m glad to see it’s success for him anyway - it’s at #10 today on Spotify!
March 21, 20232 yr #23 in yesterday's chart update, looking set to be his first Top 40 since 'Someone New'! 'All Things End' is also at #76, with 'Take Me to Church' re-entering at #99.
