Not according to the Amazon Prime commentary! Hope he manages to beat Zverev in the final, his rise in the past few months and at only 19 is making me think he'll be the next brand new #1 in time
think Alcaraz is already gonna be #6 in the ATP ranking

and Alcaraz won Madrid, or rather Zverev lost, never seen Zverev playing so bad, he looked like he was the 999 in the world

only making points with his serve and the rest of balls he was throwing them out by miles

Injury-hit former Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka says the love of the fans is what keeps him going after he earned a first ATP Tour win in 15 months.

Wawrinka, 37, fought back from a set and a break down to beat American Reilly Opelka at the Italian Open.

The Swiss, now ranked 361st, was playing only his second tour match since March 2021 after a foot injury.

"The support is the main reason why I'm still playing and came back," Wawrinka said after his 3-6 7-5 6-2 win in Rome.

Another disappointment for Raducanu as she had to retire from her Italian Open first-round match today. You have to feel for her, hopefully she'll be able to fully recover soon.

I saw her in Madrid when she lost and she kept touching her lower back as if she was a bit injured, although she was serving very good

but then if she was not 100% well, she should have skipped Rome, not a very wise decision

cos of his injury... was really sad and painful to see him struggle with his foot so much

after the game, he was asked if he was injured, and he said he lives with an injury

and that without anti-inflammatories he cannot even walk properly

think this is sadly the end of his career and he'll retire soon :/ :/ :/

It must be frustrating for him - of course he'll go down as one of the greats regardless of what happens to him now but it would be sad for him to have to retire for reasons beyond his control.

easy win for Djokovic

more impressed with Swiatek, another tournament and she played some great matches

Jack Draper appears to have pulled out of the French Open as he is not listed on the GB list of participants which is a shame. He just missed out on the main drew and would have taken part in the qualification rounds taking place this week.
