January 27, 20223 yr 11 | Freak Like Me - my most listened to Song of all time. It just had to be. But it was a tough tough call 10 | Blue - That infamous rap. The fact that Keisha and Mutya literally made up slang and conned the producers into thinking it was real. Queens. 10 | Round Round - The entire reason I’m here right now. The one that started my Sugababes journey. Still an incredible pop song 10 | Stronger - My power track. Never fails to keep me true. 10 | Supernatural - I ain’t here for no Supernatural slander. This is straight up banger 06 | Angels with Dirty Faces - I don’t hate it anymore but it’s very mediocre 09 | Virgin Sexy - I have always loved this track. Still brilliant -1 | Shape - worst thing they (not counting the fraudulent 4.0) have ever recorded. Video is superb but the chorus on this is utterly rancid stale piss. And that’s before Sting insists on getting involved because the misogynistic c**t wouldn’t let them sample his track without his vocals but the Craig David track of the same era that sampled him had no such requirement. The verses on their own would be like a 7 but I’d score lower if I could coz of the chorus and sting. Just vile. 09 | Just Don't Need This - Fantastic 09 | No Man No Cry - Sublime 10 | Switch - I have loved this song since my very first listen of Angels and it is still an absolute essential Sugababes track for me now 20 years later. 10 | More Than a Million Miles - super chill and just takes me away to this awesome chilled place 08 | Breathe Easy (acoustic jam) - Cute, and fractionally Better than the non-acoustic version on the Freak Single. And the less said about the extended round round mix that’s track 14 the better.
