Obviously huge, especially nowadays, but lower than the Euro 2020 final. Apparently 12 million+ people watched the whole 8 hours!

What a flop!

Lower than many expected given that the Euro final managed to peak at a couple of million higher. Possibly might be higher once they factor in four screen data as that overnight figure is for TV sets only.

Biggest audience so far for new series of #GreatBritishBakeOff on C4 at 8pm, but only just! 4.5m average audience across 90’ transmission which is the same number of viewers as watched launch programme 3 weeks but actually a few thousand more last night.

Blankety Blank picked up more viewers after Strictly Come Dancing saw a further rise in viewership to 7.6m. The game show saw an audience of 4m, up from 3.6m the week before and the 3.5m opening audience
