extremely impressive once again especially in quali dragging the at best 5th fastest car to top 6 on the grid most races

Strong start to the season but inexperience showed at times and his form tailed off in the latter part of the year.

One of the surprises of the season, very quick and very brave.

incredible first half of the season but fell off the boil post-sochi, huge breakthrough year nonetheless

Took a while to adapt and re-learn the formula. A genius at the wheel and in the head

Best this season, not perfect cos he has also done rookie mistakes, but imagine if he had a better car.

almost as impressive as it can get, but too many quali mistakes to be a perfect 10

unsung hero of the season beating leclerc in his first season and quietly picking up lots of points

5 2ND:

 

LEWIS HAMILTON

Poor start to the season with some daft mistakes but his talent can't be ignored and he finished the season strongly with some great drives. Nice car

Good but not a 10 either. Sure he's an amazing driver, no doubt about it, but also makes mistakes and let's not forget he's in the best car by miles.

Hugely impressive and outperforming the car. Would be an 11 if it weren't for some of the more desparate moments. Worthy champion, if he keeps it.

No doubt he's a great driver but still not cold-headed enough and making lots and lots of rookie mistakes.
