The 15-second teaser sounds like a return to the first 3 albums. Hmm... is this a sign or maybe just a one-off thing. Not that I expect another RE-ANIMATOR.

New song 'Teletype' out now (well, since Wednesday evening).

It's also bouncy and a bit of a grower.

I wonder if there's going to be another song again in one month, like with RE-ANIMATOR.

I'm not quite as blown away by 'Bad Friday' as I was by the singles off 'RE-ANIMATOR' but it's still a certified bop and earworm, EE continue to not miss x

i liked them some years ago, but lately I have lost sight of them ... i'll try to listen to the singles from last 2 albums!!!
Teletype is very innovative I have to admit though it didn't grab me fully. Excited for this!
I think this is looking like a massive return to form for them. I never even listened to the last album, Violent Sun aside I found its singles really disappointing but the three released so far are great, and I enjoyed Jennifer and Pizzaboy seeing them live too.

Mostly good stuff. Not sure I'm a big fan of 'Jennifer' and 'Leviathan' (for now).

'Cut UP!' is a very fun song. 'Software Greatman' is placed correctly at the end.

WHAT AN ALBUM THEY NEVER MISS

probably their most energetic set since Get to Heaven, with the electronic/dance-y singles and wild bangers like Cut UP! and Shark Week, and Software Greatman is a great atmospheric closer

Jennifer though wow *.* the warm indie rock vibes, the hard hitting lyrics, those harmonies on the chorus <3

More artists could do with having an AI by their side in the songwriting department x

This album just gets even better with each listen, all kinds of amazing!

The backing vocals on 'Jennifer' have caused me to ascend

This is another incredible album, honestly might actually be my favourite to date from them? 'Born Under A Meteor' is the only song on there that I'm a little ambivalent about ('RE-ANIMATOR' also only had one song that I didn't care for ('Moonlight') but this album has more tracks and I think an even higher quality standard in general) - 'Jennifer', 'HEX' (their most unhinged banger since 'Hapsburg Lippp'?), 'My Computer', 'Cut UP!', 'Metroland Is Burning' and 'Kevin's Car' were all immediate EE essentials on first listen for me and that's more than half of the album tracks! 'Shark Week' and 'Software Greatman' are both amazing as well though took an extra listen to click fully.

'Pizza Boy' feels like a bit of a meh single choice in retrospect but I still really like it, it's just ending up as one of the weakest songs on the album (think I'd only rank it ahead of 'Born Under A Meteor' and 'Leviathan'). Still loving the first 3 singles, particularly 'I Want A Love Like This' - I've seen that one getting a fairly mixed reception from the fanbase but it's definitely my fave of the pre-release singles and probably still my 2nd fave on the album after 'Jennifer'.
