Fantastic result for Eve and the team - our Winter Olympic hopes are suddently looking quite a lot more positive!

 

I caught a bit of the Finland-Slovakia game, Slovakia seemed really unlucky not to level things up towards the end. The Finnish team are just so well disciplined.

The curling teams have done really well. I'll record the men's final and watch it after I get up.

The men's curling final has been mo0ved after requests from European broadcasters. That's the good news. The bad news is that the change id from 6:00 tomorrow morning to 6:45.

Absolutely terrific stuff from Eve and the team, her first final at her fourth Games!!

I think we need to ensure the whole team is from places like Glasgow. That could make it more difficult for opponents to eavesdrop on the team discussions.

Japan is average in curling, but it does not diminish a gold medal of Great Britain.
