#15 Human Touch

 

This track has Steps written all over it! Cheesy lyrics? Check! A feel good vibe? Check! Easy to sing a long with? Check! Camp as f..? Check! I really enjoy this one and it should’ve been included on the regular edition of Buzz.

 

Why?

-The intro.

-The happy vibe of the song.

-The sing-a-long factor.

Ooh I like Human Touch, glad it was on the Australian edition of Buzz.

 

Unpopular opinion but I’ve kind of gone off The Slightest Touch. It’s ok, just not one of my favourites.

 

There’s been a great mix of songs so far. Love seeing some album tracks getting a placing.

"The Slightest Touch" - Epic cover for Steps & the only good single from 'WTFH2', complete with dramatic synths, cool disco beats and the trademark multi layered harmonies. Why wasn't this the lead single instead of the basic 'Take Me For A Ride'.

Infact this would have been my 'WTFH2' singles run = "The Slightest Touch" - "Wasted Tears" - "Living In A Lie" - "A Hundred Years of Winter!

"Human Touch" - First heard this on their 'The Last Dance' CD & instantly loved it, a fun catchy bop that could have fitted 'Buzz' far better than 'Learn To Love Again' or 'Wouldn't Hurt So Bad'. Although in its W.I.P. edit on the 'LD' CD, which gives it that extra kick it needed.

Almost agree! HYOW only a single with a different video :P the wip remix is very nice indeed but I prefer the original ^_^

Human Touch isnt a bad song at all but wouldn't be on one of my own countdowns.

Human Touch in a league way below songs that were placed lower.

#14 Chain reaction

 

I loved this one when it got released and I was very pleased it got to #2! The single got send to me by a fan and I played it quite a lot. I also enjoyed the b-side, SMFLY, as well. With a little bit more effort this could’ve been a nice (European) hit. Shame! Throughout the years I had my ups and downs with this one but now I’m at a point where I really enjoy it again.

 

Why?

-Another cover that fits them like a glove.

-Reaching #2 and remain one of the hottest pop acts.

-The b-side.
