Posted February 17, 20223 yr As the first two months of this year come towards a close, it can’t be long before Taylor announces her next re-recording. As we know, nothing is a guarantee when it comes to Taylor but it seems likely that one of the earlier albums will come earlier in the year with 1989 coming later (Fearless came in April and Red November 2021). What are you most excited to hear and why?
February 17, 20223 yr '1989' as it's my favourite Taylor album. Brilliant music and I'm hyped for the potential of the bonus material, plus I associate it with good times, so from a nostalgia stand-point I'm looking forward to all of that flooding back. It's hard to choose though as I do look forward to the earlier albums as well but for different reasons - her tackling them with more mature vocals now.

I hadn’t even thought about it from that perspective - 2014 was such a great time for me too, including the housemates I was living with etc. Plus it is the time for me that I became a full on Taylor stan. Ultimately though, I can’t wait to hear Speak Now - especially Enchanted - I missed the hype of that era, only listening to the album many years later and I’m hoping I can at least get some of the hype with the re-recording. I’m also hoping it means more people will take the time to listen to it and enjoy the great album it is - all of it written just by Taylor I might add :heart:

February 18, 20223 yr i think 'Speak Now' will be next... i imagine she's going to hold off re-recording '1989' (or certainly releasing it) as much as she can in hopes of getting the rights to the original. It's the only series of singles that people will continually opt to use the original versions I reckon.

I have been wondering myself how much use a Taylor’s Version will be with regards to continued ‘sales’ but I think it’s probably more about principle than anything else Edit: I wonder how much chance she’s got of gaining the rights to the original versions of 1989 and Reputation… Edited February 18, 20223 yr by London
February 18, 20223 yr I agree Speak Now is most likely next - Enchanted going viral has earned it a bit more attention, and it makes sense to alternate between bigger and smaller eras (overall I'm predicting SN -> 1989 -> TS -> Rep). I'm most hyped for 1989 though, I'm sure the vault tracks are gonna be incredible! I get the feeling she'll eventually get the originals back, but I hope she finishes the rerecording project first because we are getting FED *.*

Ultimately though, I can not wait to hear more mature lyrics on songs like Enchanted, Mine & Back To December. March 20, 20223 yr Author Fearless was released on the 9th April last year but still no word of the next release… I think it is going to be soon though …
