February 12, 20241 yr It is great that Simon is leaving and if he could take Carla and a few others it would be welcomed. Roy and Evelyn are the saving characters in the show that can never have enough screen time.
February 14, 20241 yr There are so many characters that just need to get gone, Carla's son, Ed and his son, Lauren (why is she still around?), Billy, Kirk, Izzy and the homeless man who is now loaded living with Yasmin, his daughter can go too. I think they need to try entice some older cast back really, would love to see Janice, Julie, Martin, Jason, Rosie and Sophie.
February 18, 20241 yr The actor who plays Liam suddenly turning into one of the best actors on the show? Obviously Mason is miscast because he clearly is about 5 year older than Dylan and Liam but after being barely shown for years now the Liam actor is completely smashing this bullying story and playing the part so well. The rest of the show is still generally pretty rubbish though. I really think the hour episodes being permanent was a terrible decision especially when the show is at it is now.

I think episode 2 was their fight and episode 3 was Fred finding out the truth about Stacy aka Orchid and Todd fighting with Nick only for Nick to get thumped by Jason

I wouldn't be surprised too, i've heard that at least one senior actor has been unhappy with the way Corrie is today too much violence and murder and not even comedy. June 8, 20241 yr My one takeaway from the news about Gail leaving Coronation Street is that the character's surname is now apparently Rodwell. Since when? She married Les Dennis’ character probably about 10 years ago now, he robbed her house and they met through restorative justice then fell in love as she helped him get his life back together, but in true Gail fashion he had a heart attack and was left to die by a serial killer cowboy builder scammer bc he’d found out about the scam :lol:
