Really liking this

It’s good but even more generic than the singles from his last album. I do quite miss the sound of his first album, a few more releases like this and he’ll be banished to the Pop forum!

Honestly I'd always thought he was more pop than indie even back with album 1. I'd actually looked in Pop for this thread before even hearing the song.

 

I like Remind Me though, it sounds like it has a lot of hit potential so I hope it does well for him!

“Found What I’ve Been Looking For” in particular was a bit of an indie anthem 5 years ago! He had big Radio X support then too.

 

I don’t mind pop of course, hopefully the Brits just don’t nominate him for Best Alt/Rock again this year.

This is boring :(

i feel I should like this more than I do, but it doesn’t fully work. I can see what they were going for, but it isn’t as catchy as I think it should be. In fact the lead in to the chorus is kind of clunky.

 

I’d like it to do something though as I like Tom, but I wouldn’t say this is the strongest

His injuries include a torn eardrum which is rather worrying.
