Unsure if this is 100% confirmed yet “‘Metro “ is where I seen this but

I’ve seen that Lola’s cause of death will be an in operable brain tumour.

If true I think it’ll be a really powerful way for the character to exit. Danielle who plays her I’d say is a great actress it’s just a shame the characters not really had that push / development.

If that’s how she’s set to depart though I think she’ll be leaving on a high. In a way I do think this is the best way to write her out if they have to kill her though as the shows just come off the back of a serial killer era so the more character focused non sensationalist stories they can do the better.

It’s a shame to see Rainie go and it’s annoying that she and Stuart split up as they’ve been my favourites the last couple of years. Tanya Franks never stays around though and we were lucky to get her for a four year stint.
I would have preferred for them to have had a happy ever after and left together as they were a well suited couple, it would have been noce to have a happy couple instead of splitting them,
But wasn't Stuart meant to be an evil psycopath until his charactwr labotomy??

Parts of that behaviour are still present but he's been written to have all this past trauma so his actions are never without explanation.

Return confirmed for

Mo Harris as Laila Morse reprises the role for a short stint

Mitch's family will appear from Monday

MO is not an important character but is enjoyable for light hearted moments.

I think Rainie will return for Stuart's exit.

RIP to Mona Hammond who played Blossom Jackson from 1994-97 and 2010. I've enjoyed watching her scenes on the Classic EastEnders repeats as the matriarchal figure of the Jackson family.
Return confirmed for

Alfie Moon

Oh god, not him.

I used to like him until they ruined him with that Hayley storyline.

Just watched this week's batch of episodes, it was definitely better than last week.

A certain returnee appearing sooner than I ever anticipated!

Also the exit for

Peter was probably the most the character has done in months and Dayle did it well. Shame he wasn't like that before

Peter was pretty much wasted this time around and they made no attempt to make him likeable. I did like his ranting at the end though, plenty of home truths. Kathy really has acted abysmally over all of this. She protected Ben pretty immediately even before she knew about the rape.
