It's worth noting that

Ricky's

return is not permanent before people get their knickers in a twist. I'm liking all of these legacy returns, it makes the show more realistic to have people come and go. It's odd when people can't/don't visit, attend weddings, funerals etc so it feels like a little more effort is going into that.

I'm still waiting on a Libby return tbh. It feels inevitable given Holby City's now done. Just hoping they're waiting for the right moment to bring Belinda back to the fold and they don't recast

Yeah I’m not really bothered about these returns either. It’s good to see familiar characters pop up every now and then.

The Sun are reporting his return is full-time...

Jesus, this thread, Liam’s last post aside, is a bleak read right now, quite the opposite of what I’m feeling towards the show. Cheer up guys!

Poor Ricky Champ with that plaque error there. Stuart doesn’t look near 55 so he definitely wasn’t born in 1967 plus with Mick being established as born 1977, we assume Stuart was too.

Sonia needs to find a partner. She hasn’t had a long term one since Tina who has not only been dead for nearly two years, but since their relationship ended, Whitney had had time for two weddings and four fiancés.

Given how horrendously Mick has always treated Linda, I can’t understand a) why he’s the first person she turns to when upset or b) why the writers are setting up a happy ending reunion for them.

Rainie! Wasn’t expecting to see her back!

Love Janine shading Tracey

It was another good week. It just disappoints me that EastEnders writers do not know how to deal with their teenage cast at all. What on Earth was that drugs storyline?

Janine is so horrible, I love her

Honestly not sure why Jada has been axed, so much potential if they’d just use her. She hasn’t really been given a chance.

Im glad Jada is axed, i dont find the actress great at all.

Based on what though? The scraps she’s been given? She’s young, acting can be worked on in most cases (and I think she’s fine besides) but she’s a decent character and thus far she’s been pretty well written.

I did hear about that one. It’s a shame but not unexpected and it’s not like that character is getting stories at the moment.

Sad to see the end of Stuart and Rainie but loving that they got a happy ending.

"Oh sod off Janine"

I wonder if Kellie Bright is leaving the show? Surely they're setting up Mick and Linda having their happy ending and leaving together?
