Just rewatched Thursday’s episode as I’d been to the cinema that night and by the time I got home I was so tired I was falling asleep. An episode *.*

Gillian Wright and Lacey Turner are the best actors in the cast.

Thursday's night episode ending that was very powerful. Impeccable acting from Gillian Wright and Lacey Turner.

I agree but I would add Kellie Bright aswell.

In real life surely Scarlett would end up with Janine now whose nose has been pretty clean in recent months over Kat whose shacked up with a man in prison, has a son involved in a stabbing and lives with two ex cons and a woman who’s just been sectioned.

But what do I know?

I can definitely see it playing in Janine's favour tomorrow basically because of what you've said. I'll be very surprised if Kat gets to keep her.

Even if I could buy that Janine would automatically forget about Scarlett in this episode, I can’t quite buy Mick doing the same or Sonia not having a night in.

Or an 11 year old making her own way, instead of WAITING to be collected  Since when has Janine had a daughter anyway? Boring! Bring back Queen Bee Janine!! Hope she offs Mick.

With Janine and mick I'm assuming she is playing mick with the view to getting her hands on the pub which is what I think will lead to micks exit, he works it out and leaves the pub in Linda's hands who I also think will be sober then and they will part on good terms.

Janine gave birth to Scarlett the day she married Michael Moon in 2012. When Pat was on her death bed, Janine told her she was pregnant.

I’ve been enjoying Janice’s comeback except for this custody battle which has never rung true for me. I was hoping with yesterday it would be over but it seems no such luck.

That ending, This Linda v Janine feud is already potentially a great EastEnders rivalry.
Prince Charles and Camilla's appearance on the set a few weeks ago has now been confirmed to be an actual appearance in the show on June 2nd for the Jubilee.

Going to be very trippy seeing them on the set and, presumably, interacting with some characters! I believe Charles previously turned down the opportunity to appear live on Coronation Street for the 40th anniversary but did feature in a pre-recorded segment where several characters watched him on TV presenting Audrey with an award for something.
Linda, Stacey and Jean are really putting in some great scenes as is Janine, and hats to Lily aswell i think she has some great potential. Im looking forward to the Linda and Janine feud in the weeks ahead and im assuming this will be the end of Lindas drinking storyline for a while and the concentration will be on her waiting sober.
Was there any point in giving Isaac a character assassination now he’s left? The relationship was so undeveloped anyway I don’t think anyone would have noticed if Lola had never mentioned him again.
That's perhaps one of the ones things I do not like about soap exits especially when they've had a half decent storyline. Isaac's mental health storyline was propped up by Lola and the writers have just annihilated all of that with a simple Instagram post
Ya i agree, and i think Eastenders in general have got awful bad with exists in the last few years, there was a time when it was totally the opposite and exits were huge nowadays for many its like they get punished with a shit exit when they decide to leave. Gray managed to get a decent enough exit but for others they havnt been so lucky.
They knew Isaac was going so why not give him and Lola a story where they break up or at least where they hint the relationship won’t last because of the distance. Lola being dumped by an Instagram post is very wtf and she’s back to basically being a background character.
Cringed through the royalist propaganda scene, already dreading the cameo.
