I don’t think that one really counts though. He was never going to come out of prison and his last scenes with Harvey were pretty final.

Exits confirmed for

Stuart, Peter, Dana and Jada

Not sure how I feel about these. The first I think is a huge mistake, the second cannot possibly be recast AGAIN and the latter two seem like they haven’t been allowed to reach their full potential.

Surprised about the latter, feel like she was brought in because the team regretted killing Denny off and leaving Sharon isolated. Very shocked about the first exit, hope this doesn’t put his partner at risk although I’ve got to say that character has been somewhat diluted recently.

Most of those needed to depart.

I predict a return for Max Branning.

That’s an odd take given half of them have barely been used and Max Branning is done as a character.

Danny Dyer has pretty much confirmed Mick is getting killed off. He seems pretty happy to be going out with a bang but I think EastEnders are shooting themselves in the foot by cutting off any chance of probably the last iconic character the show is going to have from returning.

His exit will air over the Christmas/New Year period.

No loss at all. Mick is not iconic. Danny Dyer might be but outside of the first 18 months, Mick has been an awful character.

The only thing that makes me think this shouldn’t happen is that we’ll get Grieving Shirley 3.0. They can’t just keep killing everyone close to her.

Im surprised they are killing him off, i was sure the door be left open for a return, Eastenders done much better than i thought they would at the soap awards, and Letita Dean looks absolutely stuning picking up her life time achievement award,

"I wish I could tell you more. In the next couple of months you'll learn a bit about what we're going to do but I can tell you it's huge. I want to go out in a way that's going to get people talking. It’s a thing that needs to be discussed more openly and I think it’s going to shock a few people"

Suicide?

Scarlett is so irritating, did she inherit nothing from her parents?

It def sounds like that.

Hope Janine kills him!!

It's a BBTory show. Of course it was full of royalist propaganda.

EastEnders being moved to BBC Two from 27th June for two weeks cos of Wimbledon.
Ben has spent years putting on this fake 'hard man' persona of his too, so even his nearest and dearest must forget some days that he isn't.
I think if they had used Ben less in the run up to this storyline it would have worked better, he has had so much screen time the last few years it feels overkill although it might help give Kathy more screen time.

She knows Janine well though. It was a major *oop* moment when she called her out for being involved in the crash

I guess you can just never overestimate the lack of understanding Linda’s family have for her illness.

Nancy in particular is horrific. Gutted she’s going to actually have a reason to be horrible to Zack, it was bad enough she was just doing it anyway.
