April 6Apr 6 Author I see people say that isn't the 'official' jade room account but i've never saw anything to think it isn't?I'd be shocked if it was Silent Disco as the teasing for 'Thats Showbiz Baby' has been more heavy lately.
April 6Apr 6 I don’t mind the name Silent Disco but That’s Showbiz Babe would really fit with the general lyrical theme of the singles so makes more sense to me as the title.
April 8Apr 8 I cannot understand why it's taking this long - she had her deal with RCA in 2022 and it took 2 years to release a single and the album is still in the process. It's not like she has had other projects meanwhile.. Like, being a pop artist is YOUR JOB, just do it dammit and switch label if they are preventing you.The album will do exactly the same numbers it would've done had it been released in November last year, March this year or coming May. There isn't any logical thinking behind these decisions, especially if the album's been finished. If it's not finished I would like to know what is the issue considering the music's been good for what I've heard. All in all, there will never be "the right moment", after all this wait and mess. I don't know what kind of circumstances they are waiting for lol. Edited April 8Apr 8 by Sour Candy
April 8Apr 8 Agreed, I don’t know what the label is playing at. It’s the same for Leigh and Perrie too, they’ve all released at least 5 songs now there should be albums and preorders but nothing. It still baffles me how they didn’t use the massive Brits hype Jade got to start launching the album.
April 8Apr 8 I get that from label's point of view it is expensive to release an album but it works as a platform for artist to build a live act and work the storyline. Without it, all Jade has is a handful of bops.
April 8Apr 8 I think The Brits was a last minute thing (She took Charli’s place to perform live) I’m guessing they are hoping to build her streaming platform so the album has longevity rather a first week top 10 then out? From the labels point of view I sort of get it especially if she goes on tour, fans and casuals have had chance to digest a few songs now and her platform is building she was on 3M monthly listeners last week. What I don’t understand is why the album hasn’t been put up for pre-order around the same time as FUFN because it’s now heading to zero hype territory…

Albums are expensive to make and Perrie’s / Leigh’s streaming numbers are shocking. Rollercoaster isn’t even on 1M streams so I don’t think an album stands much chance of having any longevity or even getting many streams over time even without chart success.
April 8Apr 8 Instead she’s giving us endless selfies of studio time working on album 2….I swear she’s trolling us 😂
April 8Apr 8 Author I’ve never known someone to post so much about album #2 before the first one is even out 💀
April 8Apr 8 It’s not as simple as “just leave the label”. Just ask RAYE!I still believe it’s coming but it is annoying how they’re not announcing much yet. Her comments are literally bombarded with “WE WANT ALBUM ANNOUNCEMENT PLZ!!” Kinda comments.RCA are so shit man. Ugh.
April 8Apr 8 Maybe the label wants to hold onto album one for as long as possible, until there’s enough material for album two that’s more based on Angel of My Dreams? That way she can release the album, do some shows, and then start era 2? That’s the only logical explanation I see. If she releases everything now, without much success, and then disappears for a few months till new material is ready, it’s over. But if she drops the album and shortly after has a new single, she might get a new hit. There is interest around her, and people genuinely want her to succeed — what’s missing are the songs that really connect with the audience.Personally, Fantasy is the one I’ve listened to the most, followed by FUFN — those are the most melodic ones for me. But in the UK, chaos seems to be what people love 😅 Edited April 8Apr 8 by Joshnat192
April 9Apr 9 'Angel' has reached gold certification, hasn't it? So she has had a song that connected with the audience and the album should've followed shortly after. In perfect scenario, she would've released it in November, come to the BRITS and announced a deluxe with a new song and continued to the tour/festivals this summer. It would've been a nice era. But now she is talking about the 2nd album even before the 1st has been officially announced. It's crazy! Especially today when you can add as many songs as you like to the album on streaming/digital whenever you like. Edited April 9Apr 9 by Sour Candy
April 10Apr 10 If an announcement is coming in a week or so why don’t they lock the website with a countdown and not say anything else….At least then it would be building hype rather than the desperate plea’s of an announcement. They are wasting any momentum at this point. April 15Apr 15 It really feels like this isn’t happening now? It’s tumbleweed after constant updates :/
April 15Apr 15 I would be genuinely surprised if an album announcement still came.If it was imminent then she would still be teasing. When someone goes quiet, it's usually silence speaking a thousand words.
