A *very* early tentative list of current songs to possibly feature on the next volume (pending chart success);

Fireboy DML & Ed Sheeran – Peru

Camila Camello feat. Ed Sheeran – Bam Bam

Aitch & Ashanti – Baby

ArrDee – Come & Go

Dave – Starlight

GAYLE – ur so horny

Charli XCX – Baby

Griff & Sigrid – Head On Fire

Becky Hill & Galantis – Run

The Weeknd – Less Than Zero

Megan Thee Stallion & Dua Lipa – Sweetest Pie

Clean Bandit feat. A7S – Everything But You

Swedish House Mafia & Sting – Redlight

Stereophonics – Do Ya Feel My Love?

Florence + The Machine – My Love

Future hits…?

Joel Corry, David Guetta & Bryson Tillier – What Would You Do?

Mabel x Jax Jones x Galantis – Good Luck

Disclosure x RAYE – Waterfall

Nathan Dawe – 21 Reasons

Harry Styles – Duvet

Calvin Harris – TBA

Usually it’s the shortest gap between volumes, with about 3 months between the Easter volume and the Summer volume, so there’s every possible chance of “older” tracks getting the nod by then, so we will wait and see.

Just for me only peaked in early September and whilst it would've made sense to be on the last edition, it's not a completely alien concept these days for features to be delayed. She did win Sound Of 2022 which would make sense to include her most successful track so far.

Plus the last edition featured the rather unwanted sample used by Central Cee (who incidentally doesn’t appear on this volume despite the success of his recent album).

Yeah, it would've been weird having the same song on the same CD.

The album did well, but he’s had no real long-lasting hits as a lead artist since ‘Obsessed With You’. Now usually ignores rap outside of the big songs so I’m not surprised that he’s not featured here!

Anyone know how many times Westlife have featured in the series now? I haven’t kept count in recent times but it feels like a lot.

Not many times.

Ah ok thanks Spiral. ^_^

No problem. It's a shame a lot of their UK No. 1s missed out 'cos of label politics. I we reach Yearbook '99-2002 so we can see them appear.

The Central Cee sample appeared on NOW 110. But shame none of his other songs appear on NOW 111

14 top 10 hits from 50 songs on my count, although George Ezra and Cat Burns could make it in the coming weeks. How many top 10 hits have there even been since the last edition?

Anyway, 50 songs is nice to see and I guess they blew a lot of the licensing budget on Encanto and Ed so can't have it all.

What’s getting we never see 90’s yearbooks. Now will probably think of another series to flog old 80’s tracks once they’ve done the 80’s yearbooks

Here we go then;

I think this is the first time we've seen Tears For Fears on a NOW album since NOW 16 when Sowing The Seeds Of Love was Track 1 Side 1 (or Disc 1)

First time ever for Foals!

Also this is the first time a NOW album (Numbered obviously) has hit 50 tracks!
There’s also two artists on NOW 111 (Kylie Minogue & Elton John) who both appear on NOW 11
He's had a few of solo appearances:-

Now 46 - Song For Lovers

Now 53 - Check The Meaning

Now 54 - Science of Silence

Now 62 - Break The Night With Colour

This is his first since 2006.

"Break The Night With Colour" is on NOW 63, not NOW 62

Camila Cabello hasn’t appeared on a numbered NOW as a lead artist since NOW 104 in 2019. I don’t see why they’ve stopped including her on compilations

Another record is very close to being broken for those interested like me…

Robbie Williams is currently the most featured artist (as a solo artist and not with Take That) in the entire Now series, having managed to achieve 31 different songs credited to his name. His last appearance however was on Now 100 with a repeated track for Angels but nothing since then…

Kylie Minogue though has been quietly adding more features to the Now series, and thanks to another on Now 111 she now has a total of 30 different songs credited to her name. So she is just one more feature away from equalling Robbie’s record.

Do we think she can do it? :o
