It’s basically Now copying the BuzzJack Presents Lost Legends volume… but ours is a far more superior compilation! ;)

It also says that the release date is 26th January but I don’t believe that because if it really was 26th January, it would’ve been revealed ages ago

Nice way to get around the licensing restrictions on David Bowie by including his track with Queen.

The compilation doesn't excite me in any way but at least there are a few less predictable than usual choices, like Viva Forever by Spice Girls, and that Seal song I don't recall at all (unforgettable...).

They're on to us :(

Here’s the Amazon link to have a better look at the tracklist and I’m surprised they revealed it 2 weeks prior to release as they normally announce them 4-5 weeks prior to release date and I’m still waiting for them to announce Now Yearbook 1990 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CNWJQF2H/ and also, the US are slowly revealing the tracklist for their Now 89 and they have these songs so far. Now Yearbook 1990 is finally available to pre-order on Amazon with a release date of 2nd February. Let’s hope that the release date for Now Yearbook Extra 1990 is 15th March so we can get Now 117 on 22nd March. Facebook should reveal it later but anyway, here’s the link https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CNWH7NWG

It's a very solid tracklist although I wonder why Dub Be Good To Me is missing? It feels too big to leave for the Extra, and it's not like Now usually have any problem licensing that song.

Turtle Power and Nessun Dorma both feel fair to leave for the Extra though, I guess Saviour's Day might turn up at the end of that too.

I also hope that Bring Your Daughter to the Slaughter appears on the extra version too as it did reach #1 at the end of 1990 and the extra version will be due before the Now 17 re-release. If Dub Be Good to Me doesn’t appear on the extra but doesn’t get removed from Now 17, then I don’t know the situation with the song

Got feeling stop re-issue now 80s one done

To be honest, they should’ve stopped at Now 10 but I don’t think they’ll stop the re-issues hence why 1990 is the next yearbook. I also have a feeling that Now Yearbook Extra 1988 is being pushed back a week. Went to my local Asda where budget compilation 90s #1s which is due for release tomorrow was in stock but extra 1988 wasn’t. My local HMV were also playing 90s #1s but I didn’t see extra 1988

My NOW 1988 extra is arriving tomorrow

So it’s definitely being released tomorrow then. I’ll check my local HMV or Asda tomorrow for it then if that’s the case

Asda seem to pick and choose which Yearbook Extras to stock. I struggled to get the last few from there, but they always stock the main releases.

I might have to resign myself to getting this Saturday as Amazon is showing up as Saturday delivery.

Bombalurina and Kylie Minogue are on the budget compilation 90s #1s so there’s a chance of them appearing on Now Yearbook Extra 1990. It seems odd to include 2 Kylie songs and none of them being her #1 single and Beats International did appear on Now 1983-1993 recently so there’s a chance of them being on the next one too

So many of you are mentioning Partners In Kryme being on the Extra. It’s on disc 3 of the main Yearbook.

Disc 3 track 17 and also, as Now prefer to use songs by the year they peaked and now Bruce Springsteen is licensing his tracks, then I hope they include Dancing in the Dark on any of the 1985-1989 yearbooks

If they had to choose between either Murder on the Dancefloor or Unwritten to be included on Now 117, I’d rather they included the latter as the former is already on Now 51 and the latter missed Now 60. Also I know Unwritten peaked in 2004 but I hope they also include it on either disc 3 or 4 of Now Millennium 2004-2005

I got that album today in Asda but of course they didn't have Now Yearbook 88 Extra. I can't wait in all day for Amazon tomorrow so will have to venture to HMV at the weekend to get it.

I still don't get Beats International being left off the main album. Kylie I understand more because Tears isn't exactly highly regarded like the other two, despite being a No.1, so I suppose they thought it would fit better on the Extra, where a lot of the more naff stuff and poppy covers often end up.

I must have glazed over its inclusion, thanks.

I’m glad I went to my local HMV today to get Now Yearbook Extra 1988 as I didn’t wanna chance Asda in case they never had as I’d have preferred to get it from there for the points but I remembered that I also had an HMV gift card for Christmas so I thought I’d use it to get Now Yearbook Extra 1988. Also went to my local Asda living which normally stocks entertainment products and they didn’t have Now Yearbook Extra 1988 stocked up so good job I went HMV. No tracklist has been announced but I heard that Now Millennium 2004-2005 is due for release on 1st March
